Well on the bay you can open a case against a seller if they don't ship the item within a stated time (now they make it so you have to communicate with them first and then open the case). On pay pal there isn't really security on the shipping, you just gotta trust they'll ship it. I'm not sure what the difference is with the invoice, I had someone who I've sold to before (at their suggestion) send me money through there and the box popped up for the tracking number, that's never happened to me before through a pay pal transfer alone.

I'm not sure, I rarely ever sell things through pay-pal. I never suggest it to buyers.

Was just reading in a Facebook toy trading group a discussion on this question of eBay vs Paypal. For the seller, there are still fees with Paypal, but they are much less than eBay + Paypal. So if a seller wants to do Paypal only, as a buyer you could ask for a lower price since they'll be saving the eBay fees. More importantly, the gist of the conversation was that as a buyer you could have confidence just with Paypal protection. The key thing though is you need to make sure you pay for it as buying something, rather than as a gift or personal payment. Don't have all the details, but that's what I remember reading and many people seem to chime in and agree with it. So there you go, for whatever that's worth.

As a seller, I don't see the point of going through pay-pal outside of the bay if I am just going to get less money. I had that happen to me recently, we agreed on a price per item and then I was asked to lower it 10%, the exact fee e-bay charges. What's the point? I would have rather listed it online and gotten the feedback and credit to my account.

So I popped into Toynami's Facebook page and realize that they've blocked me! Can't comment, like posts or message them. My offense apparently was complaining that them posting Futurama posters after cancelling the line was just rubbing salt in the wound. Meanwhile, there's posts on there with people telling them they suck or bashing the plushies (which I long wanted to, but respectfully refrained from). It's unbelievable, I've bought all their Futurama figures and have been beating the drum loudly here and other boards for the toyline for years. Even had a few email exchanges with them. And this is the thanks I get? All because I lamented the fact that they won't take more of my money. Never ceases to amaze me how toy companies always seem to manage to burn their bridges with fans by the end of a toyline. It's no wonder these companies are always struggling to stay afloat.

Not sure if any of you ever saw this. @slurmed asked: @supercinski Awesome to the max. Are those preview of action figures.. or figures only made for the #Futurama cast? Lee said: @slurmed Those are hand-made original wooden statues made for the show by a fan. Glad you like!

I know, you only have 45 days I think to open a case once it's purchased. Looks like someone else has sold 13 since April...updated delivery time to May 30th, heh oops...I think I am going to personally message these guys and see what they know. Thanks for the heads up, Snips!
So this guy wrote back to me as well: hallo, we keep pushing back because we didnt want our customer to get confuse, the listing is updating all the time to let the new customer know we dont have stock yet. Delay is very common in toy industry , more likely because of manufacturer delay, custom delay, all things can happen, so they just wont give us an exact date as i cant give you either.
Sounds like neither is really sure what's going on now...

Guys I'm thinking of collecting southpark kidrobot's please someone tell me it's a bad idea I don't know if it's a great idea for your wallet, but I love the Kidrobot South Park series. This may be heresy to say on this board, but frankly I like it better than the Kidrobot Futurama series. Somehow the South Park style lends itself better to the figures. (This eBay listing ending soon seems like a good opportunity to get someone started.)
