Sure, people objected to the character choice (that he got made before others), but he's a nice figure. He's probably the most solidly built in the line (he's heavy) and has some articulation. Unless we get Morbo and Lrr, Nudar is only the third alien in the line, which is hard to believe considering how the show is full of aliens.

so does that mean even if we donate were not guaranteed that we'll get our hands on a morbo? That leaves us with the possibility to see them make a less number of morbos  than the number of people who donated .

To clarify, Kickstarter isn't about "donations". It's about pledging money towards the funding of a project in return for a promise of getting some product of that project back.

So it will all be spelled out by Toynami exactly what you get for each threshold of money pledged. So if you pledge enough to get a Morbo, then you will get a Morbo.

The only way you won't get your Morbo is if not enough people pledge money so that the project doesn't meet its total funding goal, which will also be clearly spelled out.

So if you want your Morbo, it's not enough to just pledge the amount needed to get one, but you also should help promote the project so that other people pledge as well.

I only mentioned "donations" in that sometimes these projects also have a low thresholds for people who just want to throw a few bucks in towards the project.

But I don't think that's anyone here as we all want the toys!  :D

I think it depend on how much you realy want him. He's not really an essential character, but as Jabalong said, he does have good articulation, is made out of quality plastic, and stands out as one of the few aliens in anybody's futurama collection.
Plus, that seems to be a fairly reasonable price for him. I'd say go for it!

Zoidberger, I definitely think you should get Nudar. BBS was a great film/episode and the figure is one of the best ones they made.

BBTS also has Hypnotoad for order. Not sure if it is the bagged version or the boxed version (or what the difference between the two is.)

Also, per a picture of the boxed version I saw on ebay these are actually limited to 2000.

Estimated to Arrive: Early August 2013
Our Price: $19.99

I want the boxed version so I will wait until I order this but I already added Destructor to my pile of loot.

One guy online said the bagged version was released first because they had trouble getting the product to the Con, supposedly. I would prefer the boxed version myself so I will see which one my friend picked up for me.

Hopefully somewhere in the UK gets the Gender Bender as I don't want to have to pay import duty on it.

Here's a sheet of all the Comic-Con exclusives from the Futurama Facebook page. They're not all from toynami, but it shows the prices for the figures so i figured it might help. ;)

....man, I wish I could go!! :hmpf:

I am curious as to how this set is going to affect the price of the single Destructor...or if you will see people selling the single one in replacement of the double set that was released.

Outrageous thought process future what kind of scoundrel would buy the gender bender in hope of selling his already owned destructor figure

I imagine the price for him will go down, as now people have had 2 chances to snag him. I bet the single Gender-Bender wll fetch a big sum, though.

If I ever get my hands on the destructor/GB pack, I'd probably sell my current destructor (because he's got a few scuffs from being loose) and keep the figures from the two pack. Sadly, i doubt I'll ever get the pack, as people are already trying to sell it for over $100 on eBay right now. :/

Also, is there ANY difference between the original Destructor and the new one? Maybe different paint apps?

Can't really decide if I need this Hypnotoad. Is he too big to go with the figures?

Ideally, how tall should Hypnotoad be in order to be in scale with the toyline?

I'd say about as big as the Nibbler figure, not counting his Eye-tenna.

Thanks for your previous order of Futurama Items! We wanted to let you know about a related new release; please check out the link below:

GENDER BENDER BOX SET
If you missed your chance to visit SDCC this year to pick up your favorite robot don't worry we have it right here and he can be yours for $84.99.

Well that was pretty clever of BBTS, received this email from them five hours ago.

Interesting though that I didn't get one for Hypnotoad, maybe because it's not a figure per se.

I think he'd be taller than that, as Nibbler's only about 2.5cm to the top of his head. Maybe more in line with this blue guy from the Moore line, who's about 4cm tall and 5cm long.

Hard to say though as can't find any decent screenshots of Hypnotoad with any people except this one below. It may be at a deceiving angle, but he looks pretty big.

Hmmmm, come to think of it that does seem like a more accurate size. They should have included Hypnotoad with those aliens (and ship).

If he ever does become a figure, i think he should come with that podium, sort of like how Nixon did. Or, if it would (somehow) be too costly to make a figure of him, they could put a holographic picture of him on a TV accessory.

I just hope they get them in stock on ForbiddenPlanet.

I think Hypnotoad should probably be about as big as the ball guy that came with Kif if it's to be in scale with the line.

i'd rather have the mafia and flexo than a stipid figure version of hypnotoad.

the plushies ugly. just like what they did for bender. if theres a way for toynami to ruin it, they'll find the way.

I still dont know enough about this 'kickstarter' idea. but if giving them lets say, $100 and knowing without a doubt that ill get morbo, then im game. same for lurr, but its pretty shiesty that they've been flaunting them in the faces of consumers for years and not giving us them in retail outlets. pictures are cool, the 'coming 2012' tabs were good for building my anticipation.  two years has killed my buzz. im tired of waiting and this kickstarts a big drag.

imo.

but they won't listen unless money's involved?  what a sh! t company.

That's exactly what I thik about the plushies. I really dislike the weird anime-ish design they went with, it's just horrible. Who the heck wanted an anime style bender?? I don't get why they didn't just make dolls out of the regular designs! I'd much rather buy those!

And on the Kickstarter-IT'S HAPPENING!! Toynami made a Facebook comment advertising it! I'll post a screencap as soon as possible! :D

*EDIT* Here it is!

It's good to know that Toynami is starting to listen to us. Thanks, Sculptboy, for your help with this! Hopefully they get enough pledgers (which i'm sure they will) to release Lrr and Morbo.
