A few things:

I can't play Space Invaders anymore without laughing about the jokes from AOI2.

Last week on Sky, they showed a Simpsons episode where Marge ran Homer over. At one point Homer said something about a "crushed pelvis" - this tiny and probably unintentional reference to Amazon Women in the Mood made me laugh more than anything else in the episode.

Last year, in a lecture on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, one of the examples used was "robot(Bender)".

my baby cousin and me were watching Futurama one time, my cousin's only 3. he started to say fry uncontroably. and every time i go up to my aunt's he says it, maybe he thinks it's cute. that i can't explain. and my aunt got a baby rabbit today. she named it nibbles, which i guess is close to nibbler.

I went walking, sun on my neck, wind in my face.
I passed a tall, good-looking woman with a ponytail.
I looked down at my shadow.
The forelock was pointed up, in two distinct tufts.
I looked up again and saw a cute asian girl.

Creepy, VD.   :)

In SS class today we're talking about Nixon and the watergate scandel. I thought of aHitP.   :D.

Also there's a song called "Package" by A Perfect Circle which, as you can see, obviously reminds me of a certain show.   ;)

(Hil says "Creepy." )

Ever have a nice dream, where you knew it was a dream, and you tried not to wake but you woke anyway?  Or Deja Vu and you felt that if you could hold yourself just right, it would go on?
That's how it was.

Good to hear ol' Nixon reminds someone of something good.  My mom detested him.

Bookmarking a certain song,

EVERYTHING reminds me op Futurama... Really
But I can't think of examples, coz it is just a normal thing for me.
No, wait! In Denmark there is a tv-commercial where a fisherman comes out of an oven. That makes me think of the pizza place in "A Leela of Her Own"...
I do the Zoidberg scuttle thing too (WITH the ("woop-woop-woop-woop"s)

Hey, I get the Binder and Binder commercial on my local stations too!

At my old Sears job, there was this foxy-looking girl and boy, she did have the assets  :flirt: On top of that she wore a white top on certain days. Well, one day the manager told her to print some price labels with this portable electronic device. She strapped it on her arm and then it felt like deja vu all over again.

I was in a bookstore a few days ago, and happened to pass by the magazine rack. One magazine caught my eye. Hell, it seemed to jump off the shelf at me! There was a cartoon-picture of a shapely woman dressed in clinging dark pants, and a red-and-white  top. She held something in her right hand, and had a red pony-tail. At first glance I swear I saw Leela. I though it might be a Futurama comic. Sadly, on closer inspection, I saw the character had two eyes, and was obviously not Leela.

But for a few moments there...

Here's some things that reminded me of Futurama:
I watched this one episode of Law and Order out of boredom.  It was the one about some character who was a popular lowbrow comedian who dropped a baby out of a window during a fire in a hotel room.  And the comedian's name was "Monty Bender"!   Another thing was when I was at a karaoke bar with my friends, some guy was singing "Funky Town"!  It reminded me of when Morbo sang it in Amazon Women in the Mood!

the songs "i can be your hero" reminds me of fry and leela, and "have you ever been in love" by celine deon, on the song "i can be ur hero' at the end the last part when he says

i can be-eeeeee ur hero!
i can kiss away the pain,
and i will
stand-
by-
you-
forever!
u can take my breath away,
u can take my breath away,
and i can be ur hero

makes me thing of fry jumping in slow motion to save leela from a guy about to kill her.....i like dramatic episodes...lol   :)

u gotta listen to the song to see how he sings it.lol

oh aaaaaand.....what was it...ugh......o ok i g2g futurama is on in 2 min  :finger:  im just kidding with the finder! lol take a joke lolz

The other night, at Rosh Hashana dinner, a family friend was offering champagne to my mom, and I started cracking up silently. He really said "More champagne" but he said it the right way.

I couldn't believe it! And now I quote Futurama, or hear what sound like Futurama quotes, wherever I go. Freaky but funny.

I quote lines from futurama all the time but it's less funny because no one I know even knows what it is and I have to explain it to them over and over but it never gets through to them and I have to explain again and again and again....ect.ect.ect.   I hate it!  AAAHHHHH

That's really what I think of Futurama. It's great, and once you watched it, it stays with you. Great jokes and characters.

Drove by a 7-11 store yesterday. Sign didn't look right -- should have read 7 to the 11th power...  :D

Since the show has tons of references to past sci-fi movies, TV, etc, I get reminded of it when watching my video collection.

'The Breakfast Club' was on TV a few weeks ago, and I liked that the cool, lone rebel of the group was named John Bender...

"Go Bender -- Go Bender!"

I do that all the time. I'll get the strangest looks at school, but my friends know what I'm talking about. It's so funny when people know they're being left out on a joke, but a few people laugh.

I usually pick at least one quote for each day, but my friends have only seen like two or three episodes so they never know what I'm talking about.  Even when I quote the episodes they've seen, they still don't get.  It makes me want to cry.

I wish he was talking to Fishy Joe, but no, he was just giving advice to Red Sox Fans   :)
