What up?  Sorry if it's been done, but what reminds you of Futurama?  For example:
Whenever you see someone pouring a lot  of salt on fries, does that make you think of TPWP- "Would you like some fries with your salt?"
or do you know someone who looks like, let's say, Fry?  There's so many...

i was at target about a week ago and i saw this little girl go running after who i think may have been her sister yelling 'leela leela leela!' all the way down the isle. It was bizarre. I've never heard that name outside the context of the show before.

When my girlfriend tells me to use the safety belt in my car, I always say that they take more lives than they save.

every time the news comes on telling how a rich criminal is hiding in switzerland and switzerland refuses to turn him in, it makes me think of the neutral planet.  "tell my wife hello."

Everytime I see anchovies in a pizza parlor I have an irresistable urge to order them... even though i hate them!  I'm just glad they aren't extinct yet I guess.

Whenever I'm about to eat pancakes, I always make Fry's "pancake eating noise" from "Brannigan, Begin Again."

i just got back from seeing 'Finding Nemo' at the theater. Great movie, absolutely wonderful. Anyway, while i was waiting for it to start they had music going and they played the Convoy song that was at the beginning of Parasite's Lost. That's the first time i actually heard the full song all the way through and i had to pretend to bite my nails in order to hide the goofy grin on my face.

I used a bendy straw yesterday in a milkshake.

"Please insert steel girder!"

I didn't say it out loud, but I was itching to.

I was at this restaurant a few months ago and I looked over at the lobster tank, I found it so hard to keep a straight face because it kept reminding me of Dr. Zoidberg's "date" from Love's Labour's Lost In Space.  :)

A few hours ago I saw a musicvideo made by a band called Busted (or something) to a song called "The Year 3000" (I think, the chorus was something like "I've been to the year 3000, things are the same, blah blah blah...).

Anyway, it featured some futuristic animated scenes. Some of it looked quite Futurama-like, although not as smooth and impressive.

Busted. Band?? Blech. Burn them. Bastards.

...alliteration is so grooby!

Oh and whenever I hear the phrase "calm before the battle" I always think of that scene from War Is The H-Word.

There's a DJ on a local radio station who's name is "Bender." I almost called him and asked where he got the name Bender. See http://www.987thezone.com/showdj.asp?DJID=12979  for no useful details about the guy whatsoever.

Everytime I go into my college mess hall I think of benders cooking, sadly because it may actually be better that my college.
Bender: "You guys eat rocks, right?"
Bender: "Even if they're sauteed in a little muuuuud...."

I didn't say it was a good reminder.  ;) Although the tune was annoyingly catchy.

Weird thing, I watched the Simpsons episode "Radio Bart" that I had downloaded which featured the song "Convoy" by C.W. McCall (the ad where the kids are singing it with the radio, than Homer sings it), and then my good quality "Parasites Lost" finished and i watched that, and later that night I went to Farmer Jack's and they had some CD compilation that was advertising with "C.W. McCall-Convoy" on the front in big letters. Yeah, weird.

And one time my dad wanted me to go to Home Depot to haul mulch with him at 10:00 at night, and i said "well I already am in my pajamas" which i was, and funny thing, my friend used that line a week later too.

My friends always say that Fry reminds them of me, but in a *good* way  ;)

Whenever my friend who really likes Futurama and I are eating, one of us always ends up making the "ein-ein-ein-ein-ein" sound Billy West made that David X. Cohen described in the commentary for "Fry and the Slurm Factory."

David X. Cohen: I heard him say one one that he was imitating himself. I don't know what that means.
Joh DiMaggio: You never know with Billy.

Me too, for Leela and Fry's romance.  But nothing else.

God, I'm not the only one who is crazy about the show.  I have a classmate whose last name is Bender, Britan Bender.

Whever someone mentions a Futurama phrase, which sadly doesn't happen very often, I get shivers up my spine.  I almost stomp over there and say "DID YOU JUST MENTION FUTURAMA!"  9ina good way, though)

Yeah, I think the lyrics describe that pretty well.

None of my friends are interested in it unfortunately. I get some of them to watch it, but they never talk about it otherwise.

Some of my friends don't get to stay up late enough to watch on CN, but I have good friend who love it like me.  I have others who've seen it, but could care less.  Some people have different kinds of humor, or maybe they haven't see a good ep.    Bottom line is it's not shown enough.  Maybe we can convince other channels to show it someday.

When anything good happens i do good old Zoidbergs 'Horay!', and if something bad happens i do Zoidbergs good old 'Woop woop woop woop' and run off. And i often answer questions at school especially in Commerce and English with quotes from Futurama.

*trys to think of example*

*fails*

[edit]One English question about a poem once i answered with a quote. The poem was about this great ancient king who now is just memories in ruins in the sand and stuff. The question was explain the poem. I answered:

Zapp: One day a man has everything, the next day he blows up a $400
billion space station and the next day he has nothing. It makes you think.
Kif: No, it doesn't.

I also added Kif's bit.

my class had their film shoot today, and me and a friend of mine was sent out to pick up some food that had been donated to our shoot. Well, we get there and it is a full jamaican bakery. There were jamaican flags and pictures all over the place and when i glanced at their overhead menu i saw Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork. i don't think i have to tell you who it reminded me of.
