I'm going to Gettysburg tomorrow and I'm going to see the House of Bender (or something).  Whoa... long drive from the Bronx to there!

I drove to Las Vegas about 2 months ago fer my dad's wedding, and almost everything i saw reminded me of futurama. I saw something that reminded me of I, Roomate and that night when we got there I, Roomate was on! It was almost the creepiest thing ever.

House of Bender? Weird...

What was it that reminded you of "I, Roommate"?

Whenever I see someone smoking marijuana, I always think of, "My hands! They're huge! They can touch anything but themselves!" And when people tell me I'm high, I always say that - as closely as I can to the way Lrrr said it.

I didn't go in, but we were looking for the tours and I saw it.  My friends were listening to my CD's and I shook them to show it, and they thought "whatever". (they like Futurama, but not as much as me).  I was, like, going crazy.   It's an antique gift shop, I think.

When we drive down to the property we have in Kendall, Washington we usually go through Lynden to do shopping (especially now with that Mad Cow Diesease and stuff), and on the way one of the streets intersects with Bender Road.

The House of Bender is an antique shop?! If you remember from "War is the H Word," Bender's least frequently used word was "antiquing."

I am not 100 % sure about antiques, but it's definatley a gift shop.  From the outside, the stuff thru the windows are antiques during the civil war.

[Hey, do any bands, songs or singers remind you of Futurama as well?  There's a band called Nine Days whose songs remind of Futurama.

Just a while ago, my band and I got home from our first summer concert and we sang a sonng that reminds me a hell of a lot of Futurama- not exactly sure why though.

Whenever I'm in a situation I wish I could run away from, even mildly, I always fantasize me running away Zoidberg style-"Woop woop woop woop woop!" One day I WILL do that.

I'm currently putting together a Futurama themed mix and came across that song...Zombie Jesus help me, I cannot resist the insidious catchiness of it. (I'm hoping that putting Motion City Soundtrack's "The Future Freaks Me Out" redeems me...)

In the english-lessons on our university (where we are watching Futurama now and then thanks to our Futurama-loving english professor  ) a friend and I are talking nonstop in Futurama-phrases.
One time our professor handed out some papers with questions and said to us: "Answer as many as you can.".
Christoph and I simultainous said "as fast as you can" (Zapper in AWITM)....

"So you'r nonchalant, quit rubbing our noses in it!" I use this line alot when people try too ignore me for some reason.

I always think about using Zoidbergs "Woop woop woop" when i'm talking to my teachers. Man i wish i could Scuddle.

Also every time i see something really cheesy (like a store or a name) i make up captions that would fit.

That 's airbags.

Also, wasn't that in the Simpsons?

nope it was seatbelts, bender said it in the roswell one.

PS I think "The Safety Dance" will now always remind me of That Guy from Futurestock.

Simple. Everything reminds me of Futurama. I walk down the street and I see a phone box and it makes me think of suicide boothes. I see the sky and it makes me think of spaceships. I see ice cubes and i think of being frozen. I see a robot walking around and I think of Bender.

You pretty much have if you watch the show, but here's the tracklist so far...

1. Fry Gets Frozen (from Space Pilot 3000)
2. Futurama Extended Mix
3. Busted - Year 3000 (Shut up, it's stuck in my head)
4. Bender Goes Folkie (A medley of Bender singing)
5. The Karaoke Medley (Intro by Zapp & Kif/Shatner, "Slim Shady"/Morbo, "Funkytown"/Kif, "Total Eclipse"/Zapp, "Leela" )
6. Channel Surfing (The Planet Express Ad/The Popplers Song/Robo Rooter)
7. Hermes - The Bureaucrat Song
8. Clip from 30% Iron Chef
9. Cream - Sunshine of Your Love
10. Beck & Bender - My Broken Friend
11. Beelzebot & The Crew - Robot Hell
12. Donovan & The Cast- Atlantis (I cut out the original intro of the song and replaced it with the intro from The Deep South)
13. Clip fron Anthology of Interest II
14. Rush - Tom Sawyer
15. The Great Garbage Crisis of 2000
16. Motion City Soundtrack - The Future Freaks Me Out
17. The Grunka Lunka Song
18. Don't Worry, Bee Happy
19. Xmas Medley (On The Fourth Day of Xmas/The Neptunian Elves Song/Santa Claus Is Gunning You Down)
20. Clip from Luck o' the Fryish (The Fry documentary/flashback/Philip J. Fry's epitaph)
21. Simple Minds - Don't You Forget About Me
22. Bender - Daisy, Daisy
23. Bender's Ten Most Used Words
24. The New Justice Team!
25. Leela Reunited With Her Parents
26. Pizzicato Five - Baby Love Child
27. Futurama Theme (Beastie Boys Remix)

I'm open to any suggestions. (I'm starting to think that I gotta put "Walking on Sunshine" in there as well...)

Very clool!  Hopefully, you'll open that to the public.  If I could, I'd give you my band's songs based on Futurama, but it's unlikely.  Could always show the lyrics.  Use some songs that weren't used in the show that remind you of Futurama, like this band Nine Days reminds me of it with some of their songs.  Very good band, BTW.

there's a NASCAR driver in the Winston West series or something named John Bender.  I happened to catch a race a while back on late night TV and I just had to root for him.

Wow, that's clool.

There's a pitcher, I forgot what team he's on, whose last name is Farnsworth.

One time my friends and I were in the park and we heard a woman say "lila!" She said it with an accent and fast so it sounded like leela.

Kyle Farnsworth, on the Cubs.  He's a relief pitcher, I think.  He's pretty good.

Anything and everything reminds me of Futurama. I quote Futurama every chance I get.

For example:

Quote
<AIM name hidden>: i think this is one of those things that we don't need to tell kenny [boyfriend of the speaker] right now
<AIM name hidden>: well no actually i was thinking if you're still interested in miami, then i wouldn't say that there's no chance that we'll ever date.... but i guess if you're not...
SQFreak: "Leela, perhaps this is an awkward time, but if things don't work out with this pipsqueak here, I just want you to know I'll be there to score you on the rebound!"

Just watching Conan O'Brien, and Conan mentions being "cryogenically frozen for a 1000 years" and then he goes to mention the earth being "ruled by robots", and started talking in a voice like the robot elders from "Fear of Bot Planet"...

Just remembered something else about Kyle Farnsworth. About 3 weeks ago he was pitching against the Reds, and Paul Wilson got mad about some inside pitching and charged the mound.  Farnsworth beat living hell out of him.  I was just imagining Professor Farnsworth in the same situation.

Hoo hoo...
