I would say songs that have been on Futurama and then you hear in everyday life remind me of Futurama.

When ever I go to the doctors or by a hospital I think of Zoidburg. Probably because my doctor is so incompetent.

Haha, I have the same experiences with my girlfriend and friends. They all must think I am nuts. In any given conversation there is a Futurama quote chance if you know the show well enough. And if there isn't a Futurama quote a Family Guy quote will usually fit nicely. You can substitute quotes from these two shows for conversation as they are always funnier.

Last week I was at a play rehearsal with my video camera, doing interviews when I got bored. I turned the camera on my sister, who's the assistant director, and told her to say something funny. She said 'Whammy wozzle,' in a perfect monotone. And she's not even obsessed with Futurama!
Also, the song used in my signature, Cosmic Castaway from the Titan AE soundtrack, reminds me a lot of Futurama, to the extent that I cried when listening to it the day after TDHAIP... I was a little loopy that day. There's a number of songs that remind me of Futurama, including 'With These Hands' from Edward Scissorhands for TDHAIP, 'Say Goodbye' by... I don't know, for Fry and Michelle's relationship, a handful of Michelle Branch songs to be sappy Fry/Leela shippy songs, and rock versions of 'Science Fiction Double Feature' and 'Over the Rainbow', said versions by Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies. There's also 'Istanbul (Not Constantinople)' because they say 'Old New York'. I can make any song remind me of whatever I'm currently obsessed with.
Same goes for books. Most of them Discworld books. For RTEW and TWOF, Night Watch. For the Futurama hobos, Soul Music, Hogfather, and The Truth
I think I'd better stop before I say anything more... this edit was way too long.

"Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds now reminds me of Futurama.
For some reason whenever I hear "I Need a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler, I always think of Fry's more heroic moments.

i just rediscovered this song on one of my cds. It's by Our Lady Piece. It reminds me of Fry and Leela
Somewhere Out There
Last time I talked to you, you were lonely and out of place.
You were looking down on me, lost out in space.
Laid underneath the stars, strung out and feeling brave.
Watch the riddles glow, watch them float away.
Down here in the atmosphere, garbage and city lights, you gotta save your tired soul, you gotta save our lives.
Turn on the radio, to find you on sattellite, I'm waiting for the sky to fall, I'm waiting for a sign.
All we are is all so far.
You're falling back to me, the star that I can't see. I know you're out there, somewhere out there.
You're falling out of reach, defying gravity, I know you're out there, somewhere out there.
Hope you remember me, when you're homesick and need a change. I miss your purple hair, I miss the way you taste.
I know you'll come back someday, on a bed of nails awake. I'm praying that you don't burn out, or fade away.
All we are is all so far
You're falling back to me, the star that I can't see. I know you're out there, somewhere out there.
You're falling out of reach, defying gravity, I know you're out there, somewhere out there.
You're falling back to me, the star that I can't see. I know you're out there, oh. You're falling out of reach, defying gravity....
I know you're out there, somewhere out there.
You're falling back to me, the star that I can't see. I know you're out there, somewhere out there.
You're falling out of reach, defying gravity, I know you're out there, somewhere out there.
You're falling back to me.
Well I know, I know.
You're falling out of reach.
I know...

I don't understand why they close threads like "what would you ask the what if machine?" and they leave threads like this up and running. Where's the consistancy?? Maybe it is like calvinball, you just make up the rules as you go along.

It hasn't turned into a spam fest, it's still on topic and it's an original idea. I don't see where you get that impression from.

Greetings Friends!
I work as a pharmacy technician. On occasion we fill prescriptions called in by vets for animals. Well, today I overheard my boss taking a prescription for "Scruffy" the dog! I immediately thought of our beloved PE janitor!
