I'm the one saying "How much will it be?!? :)".
I do wonder if they will release it non-comic-con later, though. If they do, it'll probably have to be different in some way.

Yes, now I do see what you mean. I don't think his pupils have ever made that 'x' shape before, have they? I mean, I know they sort of wave, but they don't split like that.

At least the rest of his sculpt is prettty good, even if it is in a chibi style. His paint also looks good, too. Does anyone have a comparison shot of hypnotoad next to a regular figure, so we can see just how big he is?

But only the Tineez Hypnotoad was sold as SDCC, am I correct, in a bag (at 1st) and then a proper box (due to some box delay).
But they (Toynami) also showed a bigger Hypnotoad not for sale yet, correct?
Or we're they both for sale?

Anyway, BBTS has 188 Gender Bender sets left, and 63 Hypnotoads left to pre-order.
Get them whilst you can, they had almost 300 Gender Bender's yesterday, and 100 toads.
I assume the Hypnotoads will be in the box, b/c the bagged one's sounded limited to the first day.. but we shall see.

I'm the one sitting in the corner not saying anything because Toynami blocked me for being overly enthusiastic. LOL  :laff:

Clever. I forgot could easily check how much stock left at BBTS.

For a toyline that Toynami was ready to give up on, that seems like a sizeable order and interest from BBTS. I wonder how retailers will be able to take part in the Kickstarter.

Only the Tineez was available for sale at SDCC, MuchAdo.

Which one does BBTS have for sale? The larger one or the tiny one?

The same one as on ebay, I assume in the box.

So I'm confused about these Hypnotoads, though in large part that's probably because I've been skipping over the posts on him (preoccupied with Destructor and Morbo).  :D

Okay, so I managed to find a picture (finally!) of Toynami's SDCC 2013 Futurama display (well most of it) and can actually get a sense of how big these suckers are.

So with Hypnotoad, is it the big or small one that BBTS is selling? Do the bags have anything to do with the size? Thought someone said Toynami didn't have the boxes yet is all.

At 2.5" x 3.5", the little one can probably pass for now with the Toynami figures, though I suspect he probably should be half the size. Would be nice to see a side-by-side picture...

I queried an eBay seller about the boxed Hypnotoad and they came back saying the box measured 4" (10cm). So if the bagged one above is 2.5x3.5", then they must be the same.

Think SculptBoy said the ring was just something he knocked together for Toynami's display.

And it was Bender 22, who suggested the WWE ring without the RAW sticker.

Great pics Jab!

That huge Hypnotoad is bigger than I thought and not part of the Tineez line obviously.
The little Hypnotoads bagged and boxed were both the same Tineez version, limited to 2000. And big bad Hypnotoad is not out yet.

Also the Gender Bender set is limited to 2000.

Glad to get this all corrected.

seems like Toynami's magic number for production is 2000. Doesn't seem that high. If they would just limit every new figure to 2k I think they'd be fine. Especially if they made them available to everyone and not just people at Comicons. Seems like they are leaving a lot of money on the table since the fans are clearly willing to grossly overpay for them when eBay is their only option.

Well, I've put in my order for Destructor, Gender Bender and Hypnotoad from BBTS. First time I've picked up exclusives and first/only Tineez - assuming that was the Tineez one - because he's roughly the right size. The toad was around the same hight as the sheep he herded and the measurements I'm seeing puts him about leg height to Cloberrella (who happened to be easiest to get to).

Not sure why they'd make the bigger one, unless it was used in the prototyping process or is a talker.

I am fairly certain the BBTS Hypnotoad is not the Tineez version. Per their website it is limited to 1000 (the Tineez edition is limited to 2000) and it is 4.5in, or approximately 11.5cm. Far too large to be the Tineez version. Especially if the box for the Tineez version is only 10cm tall.

This is the one Im liking but I think it's the one that is way too big for the figures, not too bothered about that as long as the eyes are right, Im a sucker for accuracy

I asked BBTS if the Hypnotoad would be the bagged or boxed version yesterday, before I realized there were two version of Hypnotoad. Anyway, they replied today stating they won't know until it arrives in their warehouse and to keep checking the listing.

Does anyone know if the larger versions of the Hypnotoads were even for sale at the SDCC? And if so what packaging they came in?

Anyways, I ordered it as I have a pile of loot going so it won't add much to shipping. Although I honestly don't know exactly what I will get or how it ties into the other lines.

I just wrote BBTS asking about this Hypnotoad mystery and included pictures of the Toynami SDCC booth, explaining there's actually two versions of this sucker.
And that the Tineez version comes in a box and a bag at SDCC.
And there's a damn kidrobot version as well.
It's confusing hypno shit, man.
Damn Hypnotoad, he hypnotized me!
Either way, I want both new Hypnotoad's.

Never got into Kidrobot stuff, I like the Toynami/Tineez better for some odd reason.
Plus regular Tineez are usually three for $20 bucks.
Anyway I'm just glad to have the new toads in the roster, and I can order the damn thing.

I asked BBTS if the Hypnotoad would be the bagged or boxed version yesterday, before I realized there were two version of Hypnotoad. Anyway, they replied today stating they won't know until it arrives in their warehouse and to keep checking the listing.

So it could be the LE 2000 Tineez version for all they really know!

It looks like they put the kidrobot description on the toynami hypnotoad. Almost guarantee this is the tineez one boxed up. Im impatient so I talked an ebayer with a destructor.gender bender set to go back and get me one and bundle them together. Should be here any day :) Any more info on the timeline for Morbo?! Put me down for two!

I just picked up my sdcc goodies from my friend/coworker and will post pics of the items tonight. Regarding the Toynami Hypnotoad - I asked her what they said, she said the larger one would be for sale at a later time and, surprising enough, that this item is ACTUALLY a coin bank. I'd be interested to see whether this can be confirmed or not, but this is what she is telling me the people at the Toynami booth at SDCC told her.

The Hypnotoad that was sold at SDCC is definitely a Tineez type size, in a same size box as the Tineez angry Bender SDCC exlusive from a few years back.

Anyways, check back tonight guys I will take pics of everything and post :)

Almost sounds like mystery confirmed then, thanks Future.

I doubt BBTS would sale a coin bank (that probably is just a finished prototype) as a figure.
BBTS is most likely getting the SDCC Tineez toad, and their info. listed is wrong (which has happened before).
Who knows if it'll be boxed or bagged, but we shall see in August.
I assume orders will go out in August.

I dunno if I want the coin bank one now, wahh waaah.

Well on their website they said the Hypnotoad was listed as a LE of 1000; the smaller Hypnotoad that I got was a LE of 2000, so I still don't believe it is the same one (unless they got the numbers wrong which again, is quite possible like you said).

But, in your favor, they did cost $12 at the Con, so it is reasonable to assume they would charge $20 for the Tineez version.

Even their picture of it is whack!
It has happened before.

Anyway, are the new Tineez series 2 canned??

"unable to comply with EU law". My guess; it can not be sold in the EU, but US policies aren't as strict. Possibly due to EU classifying them as toys and US as collectables (not for kids)
