It needs some work (whether I actually do it or not remains to be seen), but I'll post the final product up here eventually. This is my final project in the course, so there wont be much more to show. I do have some old renders I never showed off though which I'll get around to posting when I'm not feeling so lazy.
All right, that's cool. My friend suggested that I make the poster but the title "Alien Heads and Animal Poo" and it's plot came from a dream I had.
I hope that it was a decent dream at least...at any rate, though, that title is still making me chuckle, as is the amusingly dramatic way it's presented in the poster.

Housing estate conspiracies? This is getting better and better!
Also, looking at it again, I love the expression on the boy's face in the poster...

Impressive. I love the texture on this one. Leela with a green eye is interesting too.

Opening pitch of Marcus' 2010 Bush League tryouts... Actually, I don't know or even _like_ baseball. I just like the way 'Bush League' sounds. Anyway; a half done pic (it's the last one) plus a few warm-up doodles that I tried to knock the rust off with. The expressions pretty much mirrored my attitudes to drawing them; pensive, irritated, then surprised About the last pic... I ran out of space when I was drawing it, which is one of the reasons it looks so odd. I'll try and rescue it (ideas how eagerly sought! L. head too big?). Also, sadly, the pubes'll need to go; I was... trying something. It did not work. Any thoughts or expressions of pitying disgust as welcome as ever By marcusabroad at 2010-04-27 By Marcusabroad at 2010-04-27 By marcusabroad at 2010-04-27

I presume Leela's pulling hm up the stairs of the ship after another Delivery Gone Wrong (tm)? It's a nice pose, though. It looks like she's dodging incoming fire, or something like that. I think her head's okay, how come the swimsuit though? Beach planet delivery? If you ran out of space on the paper, put another piece behind it and carry on, and reassemble in PShop after scanning.

Cheers for leers, dear peers. RS - your arting shames my t and a mucky postcard; not enough for me to aim higher, I'm just saying...! If you ran out of space on the paper, put another piece behind it and carry on, and reassemble in PShop after scanning. Mmmm, yeah; could break out the staples, good idea. Ta for kind words; and aye, Leela's doing her Lt. Ripley bit, rescuing her crew! Swimsuit has little artistic/ storytelling merit, it's just even more revealing than her usual gear, especially when torn... At a stretch, I thought it'd be an alternate scene from When Aliens Attack (feelin' nostalgic!). "trying something"? Dare I ask? Nothing too fancy/filthy I was playing with the ideas of drawing L. as pregnant and/or showing spiderlegs. Didn't like the way either played out, however. I'll play about with it and see what happens; thanks for comments

RS, that looks really cool... nice work zoidy and tedward
Thank you, to my half of that. Any thoughts or expressions of pitying disgust as welcome as ever
And you'd certainly get the latter from me...but your lining itself does seem to be nearly beyond reproach.

In the future: 1) handguns will be nearly indistinguishable from hairdryers. 2) swimsuits will be laser resistant. But not laser proof. That'd just be ridiculous. I had plans for lighting effects/damage done by whoever's shooting at Leela and Fry, but couldn't find a way to implement them. And there's a bunch of things that didn't really work. But otherwise, I'm relatively pleased with it! Opinions and thoughts much appreciated as always.

Altered with Marcus' permission... Edit: Picture was removed from Imageshack, so re-uploaded. What, did someone complain? Edit2: Removed again. Fuggit. Edit3: Back for sure, I hope.

Now looks less like she's beaten him up herself and is dragging him away to have her way with him. Not that there's anything wrong with that - I like an assertive woman.

What I love is that even though you never see a woman's nipple in a Groening cartoon, you somehow manage to draw a Groening-style nipple. It even has an overbite.

this bloody picture took 36 hours to render. My poor computer just about exploded. (Click the link for the higher res version) Hawt. No, really seriously cosmically stellar though. I like the lighting effects and the detail on the ships. I don't know about the shadows, are they of other ships outside the range? The perspective looks well-crafted and executed as well though. Interesting centaur sketch above also. : o
