I noticed the old thread had lapsed and couldn't see a replacement anywhere.

A thread for anybody to post art which doesn't have to be Futurama.

This is supposed to be me.

Mulder and Scully from The X-Files.

My creepy Nun fantasy.

Something random and sci-fi-ish I came up with late at night.

And these last two are characters from a novel I'm writing at the moment:

  COLDY!

'Tis good to see you back on the board posting again!
Excellent work, as always.

What epic are you working on now?

I'm no judge of such things, but it occurs to me there might be a, ah... [*Ahem*] market for your 'Nun story'.
Dare I ask to what order she belongs?
I'll just ooze back out under the door now...

The Order of the Rusty Kalashnikov.

The story I'm working on is an adventure set in 1975 and centering around the dubious exploits of a British smuggler called Blake Drysdale. It begins in the final days of the Vietnam War and involves a plot by the Americans and Soviets to recover a Tesla-derived energy weapon that had been developed by the Nazis at the end of WW2 but never used. It's called 'A Handful of Might', and it's a lot more lighthearted than my first novel.

Whee, new art from Coldangel. :)

You know, whenever I see grey aliens like that now, I always think of Roger from American Dad... and any seriousness goes out the airlock. Damn you, Seth MacFarlane!  :p

May St. Cosmoline look kindly upon her...  ;)

Sounds interesting. Good luck!

Grey aliens puzzle me on how they can hold that huge head up on that skinny neck. Sure don't look like they could walk around for long at our 1G. They must have brains the density of popcorn and skulls made of foam board.  :laff:

The 'alien' in the cell keeps rocking back and fourth repeating "This is not happening! This is not happening!" and eventually the bloke in the cell next to it overcomes his fear and yells "SHUT UP!"
Classic comedy XF.

These are some pics I did for a fic by a guy named James Bovill. I normally wouldn't have done a request like this, but he was just so darned polite about it.

Those look really good, as always. It's probably because I've been watching Lost all week, but Leela's face reminded me of Kate's in that drawing. Must be the freckles and the attitude.

Your work reminds me of a young da Vinci, bear.

Not Leonardo da Vinci, of course. Paulie da Vincie, a mechanic I once met in New New York.

Didn't seem to warrant it's own thread though.

It's one of the few episodes that I watch on a regular basis... along with Bad Blood, Little Green Men, Quagmire, D.P.O, War of the Copraphages, and Clive Bruckman's Final Repose.

Good picks those, Winna. I also love 'Ascension' for the mountain location - very beautiful place to be abducted from.

Thanks Frisco :)

Nice self-portrait coldy.  Also very nice backgrounds on all your images, a lot of detail in them.  Your shading is becoming quite intricate and exciting too. :)

tnuk: took the words from my mouth.  There is a distinctly pokemon feeling to it. More precicely, a monster from Yu-go-oh drawn in Pokemon style.

Note: This is not intended to be insulting.

Pokemon, you say? Now I feel dirty.
