Blackadder is a British comedy starring Rowan Atkinson (aka Mr. Bean) and has had 4 main series of 6 half-hours spanning different ages in English history.
There was also a special episode or two.

From Blackadder 2:

It's basically a comedy show where folks take the piss out of current events. Personally, I've never found it that funny.

The Glass House is an OK Australian current affairs comedy show. Wil Anderson has some decent jokes, but he completely ruins it by the way he says them. Now, Dave Hughes on the other hand....

I actually think Wil's joke delivery is great - I love the fact that he's always pushing just that little bit further to say something explicit during conversations about sex, etc. Normally, the hosts of shows like this are the ones trying to keep it from getting too offensive/off-topic.  :p

Still, the bad thing with Wil Anderson is that he re-uses his jokes too often. I must've heard that "If a future version of me came back to tell me that my financial future's secure because I'm with a certain bank, I'd punch me in the face! I want future me to come back and tell me my financial future's secure because tonight's lotto numbers are 6, 9..." joke at least 4 times. He still says that joke on the show occassionally too, even though the entire commercial it's making fun of stopped airing years ago.

Still, like you said, Dave Hughes is hilarious. His delivery is great, although I think that's partly because of the sound of his voice. It's just really suits him as a stand-up comedian.  :)

So, I made a list for this thread over a year ago. I put little to no effort into it (story of my life), and so I decided to make this new, revised list. And now I've bored you all with that crappy story. And for that, I apologize (but in the most half-assed way possible, 'cause, y'know, I'm lazy).

Anyway (and in no particular order)...

Futurama: Do I even have to explain it?

The Simpsons: Because, even though it's nothing like it once was, in its Golden Age, it was the best show on TV.

The Daily Show: Satire doesn't get any better than this.

Gilmore Girls: I swear, this is the smartest show on TV. It's funny and junk like that.

Friends: I admit to this one shamefully. I mean, it's quite possibly the stupidest show ever, but it has its moments.

Family Guy: It's so random, but that's what makes it so hilarious. 'Nuff said.

Arrested Development: Like I said, good satire is hard to come by. And this is good satire, my friend.

Home Movies: Me likey. It funny. Must stop talking like this.

Saturday Night Live: Like The Simpsons, it was the best show on television in its younger years.

Ren and Stimpy: I just had to include this. It reminds me of when I was younger, and jokes about farting were the only thing in my universe.
