I liked it overall. I was worried at first, but I'll admit that Matt Smith makes a pretty good Doctor. I like the tweed and bowtie. Seems like a good season, just as long as Amelia's boyfriend/fiancé doesn't join them on the Tardis. I liked the new cinematic direction, although the odd camera work that they did this episode (like the Doctor somehow being able to look through every camera) was annoying. When they were flashing through all the Doctors, did anybody see Eccleston or Tennant?

Wow Matt Smith is really good as the Doctor and I really like Amy Pond. Looking forward to some more episodes.

I rather enjoyed the episode, sure the Star Whale name wasn't great but it is in a series which is largely aimed at children.

How does a Dalek make tea?
By pressing the button on the machine. I'm more concerned about how it puts it on a tray and arranges the biscuits in a nice overlapping crescent shape as all good tea boys should. Chay's questions: I assume we're dealing with different days of the blitz and it appears there might be some sort of retcon going on, since Amy cant remember the Daleks. Curious... it was not a jammy dodger, it was a jam ring!
True, and, let's face it, the heart shaped centre of a jammy dodger wouldn't have fooled the Daleks for long at all.

I think the different coloured Daleks appeared in the films staring Peter Cushing.
I think the crack is connected to Amy rather than The Doctor, much like "Bad Wolf" was to do with Rose.

I think the different coloured Daleks appeared in the films staring Peter Cushing.
Correct. However, they'd been around since the B+W serials, and the models from the films were bought by the BBC since they kept blowing daleks up at a frantic rate and needed replacements. The films established that the colours give some indication of function. I think the crack is connected to Amy rather than The Doctor, much like "Bad Wolf" was to do with Rose.
I disagree. Steven Moffat isn't (hopefully) going to recycle RTD's old shit.
