Hmm, I'm a bit undecided about the Venice episode. There were many plus points - the idea of the plot was very good and it had some good elements throughout but there were a couple of areas that kinda let it down for me though: Amy's groom-to-be (I've gone forgotten his name...) was a bit...I don't know, his character seemed to change with every scene. I look forward to him being there more though. Killing off Isabella was woven into the story very well, but it was for me kinda let down by her having to do a running commentary of her own death. Why all the diversion to get into the school? The Doctor seemed able to get in by himself without any trouble at all on several occasions. Fishboy/Francesco's demise is quite well done, unfortunately his actual death seems to be caused by Amy using a mirror to intensify the glare from the sun - which has just been blotted out of the sky... And the weather control device caused an earthquake - that's pretty bad, thinks Amy and boyfriend - but not nearly as bad as the tsunami that it generates, says the Doctor, or words to that effect. Not to worry though, because switching off the machine stops the tsunami in its tracks...
Also, is it just me or does every episode have to involve the Doctor YELLING AT AMY!!!. Also, I know the notion of vanishing worlds was a recurrent theme in many of the previous full-length season's episodes, but it seemed to me to be implemented more subtly into the actual episodes. Ah well, never mind.
Anyway, I agree, next week's episode looks absolutely fascinating.

The Doctor is the subject of the question, "Doctor Who?" Were the Doctor the object of the question -- that is, receiving an action, then "Doctor Whom?" would indeed be correct. The primary misunderstanding in the grammar is that the title itself is not accurately phrased as a question as it should be. This came about from its original intention, which was for it to be the standard name by which the Doctor would be referred to by Ian.
And WOTAN, apparently.

I thought yesterday's episode was great as well, the CGI invisible parrot dinosaur monster was pretty lame but that didn't matter because of the emotion of the ending.

I'm certainly not looking forward to the next episode, I hope to be proved wrong but given that Corden had most of the screen time in the trailer I'm not optimistic.

Aww I love James Corden and I think it is going to be a good episode.

I thought this was a fairly bland episode... probably because Corden's character was boring and the delightful Karen Gillan was underused as Amy didn't feature much. I could have done without the Doctor playing football as well.
