Was it just me, or was this ep flashback-lite? If so, I hope it indicates a trend. If this show is to have any kind of longevity, the writers are going to be killing themselves trying to cram in more crazy-ass backstory for everybody within two more seasons. That said, good ep. I was surprised to see those balloon wreckage clips in the previews -- I saw pics of the set leaked on digg a few weeks ago and thought they looked fake. Also, priceless lines from Henry about nobody asking questions on the island. Seriously, writers. People have this thing, called curiosity...

The flashbacks are there for a reason. (D'uh!) I say that there are to kinds of flashback in this show, those to introduce a character and those to give some additional info to understand a current situation. But of course it's more interesting to see what's happening now then what has happened to them in the past. This episode was okay, although nothing really happened. Then again, what revelations can you expect from an episode called "The whole truth"?

-An incredible episode. I hope this gets higher ratings than last week's episode. 'Lost' used to average 20 million viewers, but since those damn breaks started, it's been going down. -I would do an episode review and other shit, but I am just too damn lazy. However, I do have some theories and questions, that if anyone knows and is kind enough, I would like answered. (As for the episode, I'd give it a 101/100.) THEORIES, COMMENTS & QUESTIONS 1. As for the flashbacks, I'm glad Locke was finally featured this season. As far as I could tell, there was nothing in the flashbacks that was terribly important to know to understand what was happening in present times. (Besides, of course, the whole backstory with Locke.)
2. When the blue light (I think there is a special name for it, but I'm not sure) illuminated the thing on the wall, it looked like a map of the hatches on the island. For instance, the middle question mark (at least I think it was that) had tunnel like things extending to other, smaller question marks surrounding the main question mark in the middle. I think this is some sort of map that shows how many hatch entrances/whatever are on the island, and where they lead. However, I think this is too easy, and there is probably something more to it. Anyone have any theories to this?
3. What the hell is up with the parachute thing? Is it possible that there are drop-offs that the castaways aren't aware of?
4. The writers (and actors) did a good job in trying to create the illusion that "Henry Gale" was actually good. BUT, I just had that feeling that something was up with him, and I turned out to be right.
5. Finally, at least for now, what the fuck is up with the numbers? I mean, it's gone past the limit twice now, and nothing has happened. (Although, we really don't know if "Henry" managed to input the numbers before the timer ran out. But I'm leaning towards the possibility he was late.) I'm even more sure now that the input thing is all psychological, and that if no one inputs the numbers, something else will be discovered. And of course, since this is 'Lost', that discovery has to lead to more mystery and suspense.
Anyone have any thoughts/inputs/etc... on my hurriedly put together ideas?
