Attack of the Killer App is a fantastic episode but is there going to be a second part to it?? :-/

It didn't end on a cliffhanger, and even though it was open ended-ish, there wasn't much to continue on... Plus it wasn't well recieved by fans, so I doubt they would try to make another one... Even Matt Groening wasn't pleased with it...

I hope we'll see Leela's Susan Boil again though, you can't introduce a great character like that and not have it show up again :)...

I'm hoping the DVD / Blu-Ray will get a Christmas release, want so bad. :(

Also, since they are airing Season 6 as one whole thing over here, will that mean no Season 7 here until 2013? :(

It is likely it will be released for Xmas here, based on logic anyway. As for your point about Season 7, well... again logic would say you're right, damn...

Is it just me, or have they sped up the episodes? All the music sounds really fast...

I've been watching the new Futurama episodes on Sky 1 in the UK on Virgin Media, and in every episode the picture seems to freeze and jump a lot. But it doesn't happen during the ads, or on any other programs or channels. It's not so bad that the program is unwatchable, but it's an annoying distraction. Has anyone else had this happen?

Sorry dude, mine has been smooth since Rebirth aired. I just started watching in HD today (upgraded my box again), no problems, and there were no problems when it was in SD. :hmpf:

It's great on Sky HD on Virgin+ but the picture keeps freakin' going all pixelly and breaking up. So I have to stop recording...

Also does it annoy anyone else when the Sky show announcers never talk about Futurama and always talk about some other show, like they're ashamed to have it on the channel.

Weird, I'm not sure what's causing it then...ah well, it's still easily watchable. And after the disappointment of the feature-length shows, I'm so glad that Futurama is right back on form. I'm loving it :D

NO! THAT'S A GOOD THING! IT'S BAD WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT IT! THEY MAKE IT SOUND AWFUL AND I CRINGE EVERYTIME!

Also, before TLPJF came on, he said something like 'Swap with Bender' or something (I wasn't really listening cause, as I said, it's cringe worthy), but that doesn't happen at all in TLPJF or TDK!, he must've read the description for next week, The Prisoner of Benda.... :nono: Another reason why they shouldn't talk about it.

Oh, and another fail, I dunno if this was Sky or Virgin, the description for the eps are poorly made and often inaccurate, that's something that I've learnt to put up with, but this one was fucking too far. Title of the ep: 'Late Philip J Frey'... First of all, it's 'THE Late Philip J. Fry', second of all, FREY?! What the hell... :nono:

They also called The proffesers rebirth machine a BIRTH machine :-/
and they ruined the ending of "The Sting" By saying somthing like "Leela starts having weird dreams when she gets stung by a giant bee" :-/

That's just inexcusable. It is someone’s job to write the title of the ep, all they have to do it the most basic form of data entry. That's their fucking job and it's just a few words which also happen to be the main characters name in the freaking show! Somehow they get it wrong! Holy fuck what a dumbass that wrote that, and they allowed such an error? What does that say about them? Obviously not a fan of the show. Jeez it's bad. Those lamers. Epic fail on their part...

Also, I used to have Sky and I remember their lame social commentary before shows, always made the last few seconds of waiting that much more painful than the rest :nono:...

I've always hated Sky. They are the worst when it comes to talking over the end credits. It's literally less than a second before the start shouting at you about what else is on. And of course I haven't seen many worse channels when it comes to annoying announcers before/after shows, sponsored-by bits that the shows go straight into before the ad breaks without any kind of "here's a break in this programme" screen, and endless reminders popping up on the screen during the shows themselves. But then with Sky it's never been about the customer, always about the almighty $.

Where are these descriptions?

Just go into your TV guide by pressing 'Menu' or 'Guide', depending on your remote, then highlight Futurama and you should have an 'i' button, that gets the info up. ;)

EXACTLY! The worst one I've seen so far was before IAGDL came on, the woman went in a snooty voice: 'All is not well, in the garden of Eden!'. RAGE

"Your"?  You do realise I don't live in the UK, nor do I own a television subscription?  But seriously, I did not realise people used the TV guides on the television.

I don't have Sky and judging by the TV at my grandparents' house (where there is Sky), I'm glad. I wouldn't want to pay for this crap.

Anyway, whilst here, I caught the end of an ad for new Futurama this Friday. Whilst it did have clips from 'A Clockwork Origin' amongst other new episodes, most of the clips were taken from 'The Sting', including a load of voice over taken from the episode with Leela talking about how she was dreaming and wanted to wake up. It was bizarre. They hadn't cleverly used old footage in a sort of "Futurama's back! I must be dreaming!" sort of way and it's not like they're repeating "The Sting" on Friday along with the new episodes. So, very strange.

Its so annoying though (even though I have the DVD) when you record on the HD channel and then the picture breaks up, and then if I play the recording that is also breaking up.

I actually don't see why they can't just put it on the British Comedy Central channel and take off some crappy shows (like Two and a Half Men or Sex in the City)

Maybe Sky are airing the episodes in the same way as the US but aren't airing "Neutopia" as it is too disturbing for the channel and may upset younger viewers...
