Production codes are the foundations of the Futurama Bible, calling is Season 7 is a sin :nono:...

True, the Broadcast order makes it Season 7 in the US... Or is that the Production order? Dammit!

The SkyGuide is also calling it S7. It's kinda odd, seeing as they never acknowledged a season 6 (or even a season 5, from what I can recall).

It would be nice to see them on the store shelves over here, as long as HMV don't go bust before it gets released :hmpf:...

Amazon will almost certainly be cheaper than HMV.

What I mean is when I walk into a physical shop in real life it would be nice to see them on the shelves. There aren't many physical shops selling such things left, the main one is HMV and it may be gone by then...

Why? If you have the American DVD why should you want to see the UK version? And I hope they aren't on the shelves, I hope the shelves are empty because they've sold out so quickly. :D

Tesco. Asda. Sainsburys. They all sell DVDs. The high street chains were overpriced and bloated monstrosities with no real advantage over their online replacements. I for one do not mourn their passing.

I'm old skool, DannyJC13. I liked the 00's when I could buy everything cheaper online, but still enjoy browsing real life shops thanks to the mugs still paying the high street prices. Now such luxuries are fading fast, they’ve cottoned on...

Yes TNUK, I guess there's always supermarkets, but they only tend to stock things when they're new releases. I like seeing the entire series of something all together on shelves. I must be weird...

Well Sky1 would finish off around October so it does look likely it will be finished at the same time.

Totally called it. Now if this translates to a full production season DVD set, I will be extremely happy.

Today's been too good to me to get that news now though, so I'll have to wait.

I'm hoping for the same thing, it would make sense. My only concern is which cover art would they use ...

The UK version of ITWGY had a completely different cover...

That is a fair point, so you're suggesting the UK may not have either cover, but an entirely new one. If that's the case then I hope the quality is at least on a par with the US counterparts. The US ITWGY cover was far superior IMO. Also, on a related note the US editions of all the movies contained additional artwork inside the cases which the UK versions omitted. We just got a plain white inside, something which has always irked me considerably because the US versions contained some of the best Futurama artwork to date, period...

Maybe it'll be volume 5 and 6's artwork layered over the top of eachother with horrific results.

Or one on the front and one on the back.

I'd like for something new and for it to be more in line with the seasons 1-4 and movie covers, but to be honest, I'll be happy with anything so long as the episodes are on it.
