Not to be the most unpopular poster here, but I think "Yo Leela Leela" sounds like it will be fine. I personally really like "A Leela of Her Own" (maybe because it subverts the expectation you might have of Leela being a good athlete, and also because, I dunno, I just find it funny), so if this episode is in the same vein, I see no problem with that.
It's nice, every once in a while, to have a Leela story that's not tied up in her mutant-ness (like "Attack of the Killer App"), her relationships with Fry ("Rebirth") or Zapp ("In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela"), or some crusade she happens to be on ("The Mutants are Revolting"). Sometimes just seeing her do sort of self-serving, silly things (like in "A Leela of Her Own", sure, but also the subplot of "The Route of All Evil" or "Less Than Hero") can be fun.

That's true. I liked "Less Than Hero" and "The Route of All Evil", and I think there's been a good amount of Leela-mutant episodes, so maybe this episode might not be so bad. It'll probably be a silly episode, so hopefully there'll be a good amount of laughs.

As most can see over on the side news bars on PEEL's mainpage, Entertainment Weekly is doing a "25 Greatest Animated Series of All Time" ranking and they're asking average folk to vote. The article linked on PEEL has the writer of the section advocating Futurama as the greatest, which should help us. We're currently 4th with 7.69%, behind Simpsons (shocker), South Park, and Batman TAS and right in front of Looney Tunes and Family Guy (and somehow beating classics like Rocky and Bullwinkle and The Flintstones by miles...). The list does have a good amount of omissions (as they're giving us 25 only, so they probably already made their 25 and the voting won't matter), such as Invader Zim, Avatar, Daria, Transformers, Samurai Jack, Rocko's Modern Life, The Critic, Dr. Katz, and a host of others that arguably should be on there instead of, say, Aqua Teen Hunger Force or Archer.
