That Monster has always been in that episode, ever since the Benderama table reading at Comic-Con last year.

Now it make sense!! the robot devil will be in Ghost in the Machine when bender will die certainly. I expect something like : Bender die, the robot devil come and offer a deal to Bender, if he does a certain thing before a time limit he will be able to live again. sound good to me

No. If Bender dies, his programming is wirelessly backed up and downloaded into a new body -obviously this plot is based around that programming going rogue.

And I'm pretty sure that firepole has been there before. Can't guarantee that it was in every episode though -might be a bit of a continuity error.

If you lighten the picture up in a bitmap program it appears to be a pipe rather than a fire pole.
Fire poles tend to be made with a brass surface and run straight up and down, floor to ceiling.
The "pipe" in the picture has multiple seams and a bend at the top. The hole may be there because
the pipe gets very hot or cold or to prevent pole dancing by the staff.

It's there in "A Clone of My Own", just checked.

No, the point of Lethal Inspection was that all bending units except Bender have this feature. Perhaps instead it follows up on The Honking's ghosts.

Since the Honking was essentially the first halloween special, it's unclear whether it's actually canon.

I think that it's at least implied to be canon in "That's Lobstertainment" when Bender tells Calculon that they met once before (which I assume is referring to "The Honking").

Of course, Calculon's reply of "Absolutely not!" could counter this, but besides comedic value it may have something to do with a memory issue from losing his werecar status (although that apparently didn't affect Bender).

I think some find its premise too farfetched to be taken seriously (well, seriously as an episode anyway; it's funny either way).
