A Delivery Boy for the Poilce?! :laff: Kurt's ideas are so wacky and fun.

The British PE Building looks like it's from the Tudor period or something, we aren't like that anymore! Look at The Cube in Birmingham!...

Really? Where did you get this info about the episode? I thought it was set at whatever year Futurama is currently set (3011 for this season) in a ripple-effected version of the universe where the British didn't lose control of the colonies, but apparently you were able to find different.

Fine, some of the episode is set in the past (for the ripple's to start), but not the portions when they return to the "present" time (i.e. that still).

Whu? I don't get you man. Your post in response to Otis P suggested that you were correcting his objection to the Tudor look by proposing that the portion of the episode shown in the still takes place in the past, even though that is unlikely since we clearly see (and are told) that the building is Planet Express (a venture started by Professor Farnsworth). Then you chide/eye roll me for that thought, suggesting that you didn't think that. Did I read your post incorrectly? Was it humor?

Well, maybe that like, the current Universe stays the exact same, everything stays in place, but they go back in time, and the location and buildings change to match the Time Period, kind of like the TARDIS.

Hm, that's actually a pretty sweet idea of Time Travel. :)

Eh, that's enough of us not being clever.

That thing about time travel you posted is a bit misguided. The TARDIS's chameleon circuit as originally designed is supposed to disguise the TARDIS to appear to be something unremarkable from the time period and place it is at. What's happening to the P.E. building (and NNY for that matter) is that the crew's dealings with history (that of American presidents) has changed its course and landed them in an alternate reality of sorts. Same universe, different take.

Oh yeah I forgot about that, wonder how they'll fix it?

The obvious thing to do would be to simply return to every period they messed with and cause events to proceed as they originally did, but that's a very straight take on an alternate history story (solution) so I assume the writers have something funnier planned.

I'm not smarter than you (as far as I know). Though, you could have proved you were smarter than me by not responding to me, thus leaving me as the loser arguing to himself on a sci-fi cartoon message board. Eh, regrets.

Waiting for a load of stereotypical British references. Oh well, still can't wait! I personally love seeing different versions of the same thing (like the Planet Express Building) so hopefully there'll be plenty of these!

In my mind. :flirt: Dr. Zoidberg with white hair, popping out of a PE exterior wall. Fry on a partially upright operating table with lots of rotating-type blades in front of him.

Hmm, so Britain managed to fight off the American Revolution and keep control of America (Plus maybe many more American Revolutions after that.) and possibly fight off many other revolutions from countries around the world that they control, though I think there would be still a lot of unrest going on, and maybe another impending revolution.

The DOOP flag might look like a Britainish one.

Just got back from the Infosphere and the character listings for Law and Oracle are just Fry and those dudes at the cryogenic lab.  Maybe the others won't be in it?

My guess is Mobius Dick will probably be a spoof of that Bill Murray movie The Life Aquantic With Steve Zizzu.
