A rebel group named the purple coalition has taken 64 hostages in the annexed west peelistanian. They are against the emperor of slimmy and the collapse of west peelistan, the process of annexing south slimmy and west peelistan has not gone smoothly yet, but none of the incidents were this large scale. We suspect the army of rebels to be quite large so we're going to send military troops from the old south slimmy to assist the law enforcers.

It is a dark time in the Region of PEEL. Valiant rebel forces fight the invading forces of the COMECON, bent on retaking the land of Philips Head for it's own deeds.

Fierce battles rage across the plains and hills of the Gnome Islands, causing mass destruction and terror. Millions are left homeless and must flee the Islands.

Meanwhile, in other areas of PEEL, the influence of the Greater Cyberian Union continues to expand, leading some to question the motives of it's conceiver, President Jack Baruk of the state of New Cyberia.

With such strife raging, it may be a long time before a hero rises from the ashes and saves the galaxy region.........

The galant troops of COMECON, whose countries have seen among the worst hit by the terrorist scourge, have hit back against the rebels of Philips Head and stand on the verge of victory over those who would see chaos and lawlessness spread throughout the world. Only then may peace and justice exist in these lands.

Meanwhile dark plans unfold in darkened rooms behind the some of the most powerful countries in the region. The legacy of the murder of the great leaders of the MuDeAl is about to take a nasty turn.

Who then may arise to go against the real tide of evil...?

I still don't know bugger-all about this whole thing, so expect moronicy.   :p

If i do end up making this a regular thing, i'll be trying to let everyone do what they want, while still keeping a relative amount of order (The deadly (and impossible) balance)

Nogotian delegation uncovers truth about Nogori-La

n³a - nogograd

Some members of a survey team sent to Nogori-La by the Nogotian conclave have managed to return with some shocking information.

As suspected, Nogori-La is indeed ruled by a predecessor of Khan Gocad. Unfortunately it's none other than Emperor Gocad, the slightly crazy former ruler of Nogo-Nogo, which had been replaced by his clone, known as Emperor Gocad's clone, Emperor Gocad. During his rule Emperor Gocad had planned to build some really huge army (even bigger than the gigantic Nudrbotian army) and to conquer the entire PEEL region. But when it became clear that Emperor Gocad's plans would probably mean the end of Nogo-Nogo he was removed from the throne and exiled.
He then departed Nogo-Nogo on a small boat.

Nobody knew what happened to him then...until now.

Kyzanthorpe Secured.

Today, the last small groups of remaining PH Army soldiers were cleared out of the many underground bunkers underneath the city of Kyzanthorpe. It's thought many of these men could not leave with the three shattered army groups that retreated from the city before COMECON forces encircled the city it self.

The Testalicious Army is rebuilding it self by conscripting many Testalicious citizens ready to fight for there nation and using many abandoned Tanks from many nations as there own Armour.

The Nurdbotian Poltiburo and Chairman Hochinski today, after seeing the amount of Nurdbotian dead being unloaded have requested that The COMECON Nation of Azeroth and MuDeAL nations to open another front in Testalicious/San Fredlando to speed the war up.

Nurdbotian-Sargus Talks.
In the Embassy of Sargus in Nurdograd, talks are being held to avoid combat in the nation of Sargus between COMECON forces.

Cyber: Uh, they blasted our embassies, Invaded San Fredlando, sunk Nurdbotian Supply Ships, took over Testalicious and Nuked San Fredlando's capital. That's not War like actions I don't bloody know what is.

But all that happened after San Fredlando annexed former Philips Head, which till that point had been an isolationist state. How would you feel if some country you'd never even heard of came in and started telling you what to do?

We are not saying those behind the attacks on San Fredlando and Testalicious should be absolved of blame, but we do want you to consider that perhaps suppressing a popular rebellion is not the best way to ensure peace in the Gnome Islands.

Because the COMECON is composed almost wholly of communist nations, it could also be percieved that you are attempting to impose a form of government on an unwilling populace.

Also, while the AGCU will not participate in offensive actions against the rebels, we shall order the Khan Gocad north to provide defensive structures for the MuDeAl forces. We will also place a division at the disposal of the MuDeAl for peace-keeping duties.

Sargus would like to confirm that it has begun peace negotiations with Nurbotia. Terms of the peace will not be anounced, however a ceace fire has been signed with imediate effect. We would also like to announce that Sargus has aprehended several known war criminals. These men are suspected of involvement in the attack on the City of San Fredlando. The prisoners will be handed over to Nurdbotian forces for trial at a COMECON court of law.

In development: The LM-57 "Phalanx" Light Scouting Mech
These little buggers will enter the battlefield in a flash, kill you, then leave just as fast. It is virtually impossible to catch up with one once it's in full throttle, and the punch in firepower it packs will make it more than a scouting unit.

Zedoljev accepts New Cyberia's plan for a MuDeAl summit, but currently Premier Zvyevonyev refuses to travel there, and has restricted both recently-elected Deputy Premier Mironov and Foriegn Minister Gragonev from going as well, possibly in paranoia of previous "incidents" where travelling Premiers or Foriegn Ministers have been murdered for their troubles, and considering this debate is concerning the future of Philip's Head, a cowardly attack by rebel forces or sympathisers cannot be ruled out. Instead, Zedoljev will be represented by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Khedy Yuriovna Ermakova - certainly not classed as expendable anyway, she willingly took the task with no objections. The Premier however has made it clear that Zedoljev will not stand to be pressured into anything against our national interests, even by allies.

Zedoljev has also asked that all war criminals be tried in a San Fredlandian court, though some have suggested that a Nurdbotian or even MuDeAl court may be more just and lest vested.

To go, yet again it seems, against the Premier's stance, Foriegn Minister Gragonev has personally offered an olive branch to MuDeAl, suggesting that this sumit also cover the terrorist activities in the Imperial lands of Slimmy, and has implied that Zedoljev is willing to play a large part in any operation, whether military or just support, purely under the name of MuDeAl. Whether he'll be shouted down by the Premier, or not trusted by the other MuDeAl nations (who have to deal solely with Deputy Minister Ermakova - possibly with her own agenda - anyway) remains to be seen...

"Ceace fire - end of war?" A news report from Sargus Telecomunications

It has been anouced today that Sargus has accepted ceace fire arangements with nearly all the San Fredlando allies involved in the conflict. This effectivly signals the end of war for the time being.

The peace is beleved to have come about after a secret deal with the Nurdbotian government. At least part of the arangement appears to be  the handing over of six 'war criminals', assumed to be the Phillips Head officers taken from their hotel after the recent negotations with the rebel state. It is also assumed that the nation is now at war with the remainder of the Phillips Head movement.

How long the peace will last, and at what cost is yet unknown. There have been uncofirmed reports that Sargus officials, possibly including the King Himself are on their way to another secret negotiotion summit with San Fredlando officials.

Assuming the peace lasts, there is likely to be costs to Sargus. This could include dissarmament or reparations payments. The current state of the economy, though on the mend is still very fragile and sanctions could cripple it once and for all. However, the case for contiued warfare is weak indeed, whilst the defences have held so far it is unlikely that they would last long against a full attack from the coalition, whos true military might has only recently become apparent.

Finaly, Sargus Telecomunications welcomes peace and hopes that the nation can finaly open negoatioations and trade to help restore the glory of Sargus.

    The Federal Republic welcome the New Cyberian initiative to call a MuDeAl summit. Central Command is deeply worried about the division that is starting to manifest itself within the alliance. For decades MuDeAl have been a stabilising factor in regional politics and have worked to promote security and wellfare throughout the region, bringing together nations from the entire political spectrum. I MuDeAl were to fall apart the outcome would be disastrous, and an encouragement for those who seek to destroy us and our dedication to democracy and freedom.

    Admiral Rejal held a brief press conference later that day, here's a small outtake:

    SF to concede Sargus territory?

    Rumours abound that San Fredlando are willing to concede the territory currently occupied by Sargus in order to reach a peace treaty as soon as possible.  There's been no official word from President Williams, but a senior politician is quoted as saying "There's no point continuing this dispute with Sargus now they've severed ties with the terrorists.  We have to concentrate on liberating the people of Philips Head II."

    Ivorila has discovered another intelligent race in the colony of New Ivorila today, in a symbiosis with the Kiitarn. The Ferhtekk are an entirely aquatic species that help with Kiitarn relationships around the globe. After a recent racist comment by the Stone Bear regarding the Kiitarn, Ivorila is assuring nearby nations that the Kiitarn and Ferhtekk are only in New Ivorila, so racist nations don't need to worry.
