Civil Rights in Neoneo-Frisbeenia have been going to the roof lately, is it because of the UN resolution?

Laws have been enacted to bring the Democratic Republic of Neoneo-Frisbeenia into compliance with the United Nations "Common Sense Act II" resolution.

If anything, that UN resolution, which your UN delegate, West - Europa, voted against, should limit civil rights:
Civilians would no longer have the right to sue anyone else for their own stupidity.

One positive thing I can think of, is that it might lower taxes because it relieves the legal and justice systems.

In other news:
West - Europa is "capitalizt" again, which means the non-rich starve or are crippled by diseases, even though my third priority is social security and welfare...

Dylsexia is now a compulsory consumerist state, after being a libertarian police state for a couple of days.

In my experience it certainly works that way. Except my nation should have imploded last month if that were really the case.

Hmmm, now I've formed a protective block of new territory around my core nation, it kind of looks like lower Texas on the map...

This is all according to the Nurdbotian Calinder. BR is Before Revaloution and AR Is After.

00 BR: 6 states of Nurdbotia (Botbotdam, Hetaiopa, Treknev, Gukkalav, Zvekka and Tzappiz) are populated by natives from Tweeklandia and continent beyond.
10 BR: All 6 states have now contacted eachother and began trading.
17 BR: First War between Botbotdam and Gukkalav break's out.
23 BR: 2nd War. Botbotdam, Hentaiopa and Tzappiz form alliances with each other against the other three states.
30 BR: The Final battle's die away, The only state untouched by chaos is Treknev.
35 BR: Nurdbot Naramov Ghetti 8, one of the mixed races of Robot's in Nurdbotia's land's leaves the robot populated Botbotdam and head's for the more squishy land's in search for loot. Come's back with hundred's of former sucessful merchant's cash 6 month's later.
43 BR: Robot's of Botbotdam cause more chaos breaking into a civl War after Sinclair 56 and Fendeski both claim the ancient Tzarian Throne after the death of Beta Unit 11001100110011001. 44 BR: Battle of Spectrum: Nurdbot's, Fenderski's and Sinclair armies clash at the base of the Oral mountain's, but Nurdbot win's due to Technilogical Advantage of efficient laser-crossbow's against the aged laser short-bow's of the other army. He bought the Laser-Crossbolt's from the ancient merchant's of the day's of blue fire in Treknev.
45 BR: Nurdbot settle's down on the Robot Tzar's Throne and Proclaim's himself King of Botbotdam. He creates a new capital called Saint Nurdy-Beta's Berg instead of repairing the old capital of loggin.
50 BR: Botbotdam come's in contact with Nixorbanian Sailor's, who promise Gallently looking hat's with feathers, beer and pornography in return for some Grade A Pig-Iron. Zvekka, next door to Botbotdam had a quality Iron, and was still in chaos from the 2nd war. The Botbotdam Army marches in and easy take's it. Trade link's between Nixorbania and Botbotdam open up.
52 BR: Botbotdam's people want a navy to secure the waters from the Urallian Empire and Pirates. The North West Nation of Gukkalav has acess to the sea, but Gukkalav has settled down from the war years ago and was back on track. It was rumored there port's swelled with good's from Urallia. With a even larger army, now with Stun-Pike's and Laser Crossbow's Botbotdam's army marched into Gukkalav. 60% of the Nurdbotian Army were robot's, The rest were a ragtag collection of Human's and Plutoian's. But Instead of finding the army in a field, they found the entire Gukkalav's army siegeing inside there Capitol city Klak. Gukkalav's population was mainly Human, and human's we're easy to break. The entire Robot force of the Botbotdam army easy created hundred's of Treubuchet's in a few hour's and bombarded the city continuesly. A week later a messinger arived in the tent of The Tzar of Botbotdam, saying the people had revolted and killed there King just to stop the Bombardment. Nurdbot seized Grekkar. Botbotdam was a lot bigger and now had a mixed ethnic population of human's, robot's and alien's.
54 BR: 60 Nurdbotian Battle-Galley's Officially became the Nurdbotian Navy and protected the Fishermen from the Urallian Empire, who we're angry at the loss of there Trading Partner.
57 BR: A Small mixed Army of Botbotdam marches into Hentaiopa, discovering no resistence what so ever. The Demon's were mostly wiped out in the 2nd War. Small Tribe's of Females that looked slighty feline lived there instead, carefree of the land around them. It was easy annexed.
59 BR: The FOT and Botbotdam contact each other and begin to trade.
61 BR: The remaining states, worried by Botbotdam's large army and the tale's of false horror's spread by lie's decided to hold a meeting with the New Emperor of Robot's. They diplomaticly get a result, when the last of the Royal Family's of the remaining states die out, Botbotdam can take the land.
64 BR: The Remaining States go into a final war with each other and all King's Are elminated, not by enemy armies but there own people. The three land's Trading with Urallia was poor compared to Botbotdam's link's with FOT and Nixorbania. Tzar Nurdbot Visited the three de-leadered states and annexed them all.
66 BR: Tzar Nurdbot renames the area from Botbotdam to Nurdbotia. The first Threat's of War from Urallia are received.
68 BR: Nurdbotia has Boarder clashes in the south with Badgermash.
70 BR: Nurdbotia trades a large amount of Gold to the FOT for the secret of the Cannon.
71 BR: Navy is fully Modified with Cannon's. Battle of the rabid sea, The first Major Sea battle against The Urallian Empire. Nurdbotia eliminate's 60 or the 80 Urallian Ship's thank's to the cannon.
73 BR: Tzar Nurdbot sigh's the Orthodox Charter, Giving The Church or Robotolgy and The Orthedox Church great power, 'To save there imortal hardrives and soul's from hell'. It was a heavy price to pay. The Churches owned half the land of Nurdbotia.
75 BR: A attempted Assassination of Tzar Nurdbot, who luckly bent down to retreave his crown and tripped Robertochanov through the window in the highest tower in the Winter Palice. A Stainedglass Window of the Assassin plummiting to his doom replaces the window and the tower is blessed by all three Churches. You can still see it today.
78 BR: Badgermashian Armies Clash with Nurdbotian Armies on the border, Nurdbotia beg's FOT for help. The Federation Threaten's to cut it's Trade Link's with Badgermash if they don't stop harassing Nurdbotia. Badgermashian Army withdraw's. For now.
80 BR: Urallia Attempt's to Invade Nurdbotia from the land Know as Zedoljev but fail's mainly because they choose the infamous worst Month's of Winter up in the cold North. The fleet was caught up in a Ice-Storm and was never seen again. Either hit a Ice-berg or eaten by the many Monsters in the Cyclopian Sea.
94 BR: Nurdbot Naramov Ghetti 8 is Manufactured. Little did his father know, his son would be greater than him. Nurdbotia get's a visit from a Europian Diplomat, and trade deal's are struck.
96 BR: Determened to keep Nurdbotia united, Tzar Nurdbot the Ist decides to take the Island of Nogo-Nogo and start a Empire, much like the Urallian's. But to ensure good co-operation with other nation's, he promised them all bountiful good's from Nurdbotia.
97 BR: The Nurbotian Fleet of 2 Armies and a Town full of People set off to Capture and Colonise Nogo-Nogo. The Offensive Tribe's are wiped out in week's. The Tzar welcome a Ex-Prince to Nurdbotia and make's him a Nobleman, the first of the Imperial bounties arive too.
98 BR: Nurdbotian Battle-Tactic's are slighty updated.
100 BR: The Federation of Teral and Badgermash have a Diplomatic Despute. Badgermash start's Mobilising it's Armies.
101 BR: The Churches Demand the Nurdbotian Army to march into Badgermash and defeat the Infidel's. Tzar Nurdbot the Ist refuses and stay's on Defence. The Battle of Sandborder surprised the Badgermashian's with the Dicoplined Collum's and proper use of Cavlry. The The defeated Armies of Badgermash rally and retreat.
106 BR: Nurdbotia settles down at last and have a peaceful History of Trading and Dipomatic Action for the next few hundred's of years.
155 BR: The Nurdbotian Church con's the Obsoliting Tzar into more Power and start's burning all those they suspect are herectic. A attempt on the Prince was made, but was stopped when the Chief Member of The Orthedox Church was killed in "accident" with a group of Soldiers.
175 BR: Tzar Nurdbot the 1st dies, leaving a rich Nation with a small Empire and a good Trading reputation for his son, and a corrupt collection of Churches. The Next Day, Tzar Nurdbot The IInd was crowned, He would be nicknamed 'The Great'.
186 BR: Nixorbania exchanges the secret of salt-peter and Musket's for the plan's of the first Nurdbotian Frigates.
188 BR: Tzar Nurdbot the IInd changes Nurdbotian Battle tactic's once more, and look's for a nice staple nation full of young men willing to to build up there Army to take on Badgermash.
190 BR: Clashes with the Nurdbotian Chruch over right's The First Nurdbotian Tzar set over land, Tzar Nurdbot the IInd eliminates the document's and threaten's to bring all three churches down onto there knee's if they continue there insolence.
193 BR: Tzar Nurdbot the IInd hear's of Mayatland, A huge amount of desert south of Nurdbotia. The Tzar decides to take the Dusty Jewel because the location of a port in the Strait of Morbo. A huge Army of 26 thousand of mixed races is gathered and marched toward's Mayatland. They discover it is mostly empty, apart from a huge Town of Conmatastanaple where the Sultun of the land's Lived. The Sultan, who recived the land's from a will, agreed with The Tzar that Mayatland could become part of the Nurdbotian Empire under two condition's, 1. A small part of the Trade was sent to the Town, 2. They left him in power over the Mayatland people. The Tzar Happily Agreed and in two month's a huge port town was built by Nurdbotian's in the Mayatland.

BREAKING NEWS

New Cyberia moves to aid stricken state, expand borders:

New Cyberian forces are on the ground in the newly collapsed state of Wells-ville, despite rising concerns of a possible conflict with Cybrania.

"We have the capacity to operate both at home and abroad", stated a top military chief, who declined to be named. "Not only will this annexation increase New Cyberia's borders, but it is an urgently needed humanitarian mission to a stricken state."

Reportedly, New Cyberian forces have only moved to encompass roughly half the state, leaving many analysts to speculate that the previously hemmed in People's Republic of Zedoljev could make a landgrab to the north, to ease rapidly increasing population problems. However, the Zedoljev government could not be reached for comment.

The landgrab increases the length of New Cyberia's borders with Spifflandia and Nurdbotia, and adds a border with Zedoljev to it's list of neighbouring states.

Djorvak would like to bid on the contract to rebuild Wells-Ville's pizza delivery industry, once the country is secured. The Djorvakian pizza industry, being one of the largest in the world, have a wealth of expertise that would be invaluable in this project.

In other news, reports received a few minutes ago tell of a possible terror act in the Terallian ski-resort of Darnak Lot, currently preparing for the coming Winter Olympics. Confused eye witness reports tell of a large explosion inside the area designated to house the athletes. Whether this is linked with the attack on Urallian forces, or the anarchy currently engulfing Wells-ville is unknown at this time. President Teral is on his way to the capital.

Despite the objections of his senior cabinet members, he's intent on taking control of the situation. Anonymous government sources say that there are great concerns regarding the mental health of president Teral. The president have refused to answer any questions, until he arrive at in Empok Nor.

In New Cyberia, people report of encreased activity from 7th Corps. In a cryptic statement a spokesperson told that "units are simply being relocated to implement the maximum security benefits for personel." The commander of 7th Corps is still unavailable, rumors have it that he has left the country. "Ridiculous and unfounded", was all the spokesperson had to say about this issue.

Once the Wells-ville Territories (as the new section of New Cyberia is to be known) is secured, New Cyberia would be glad to discuss reconstruction.

If this act does indeed appear to be one of terror, New Cyberia stands ready to assist the Federation in any intelligence gathering activities.

Meanwhile, minor border skirmishes are being reported along the Cyberian/Cybranian border, although these reports are unconfirmed and sporadic at best. Analysts speculate that the annexation of the Wells-ville territories could have triggered a reaction in the Cybranian High Command.

Dvorakia (Ben) expanded to take it. As a fellow Australian state it seemed proper.

And I don't think Paran and The Hands Of Fate got official map locations.

However, I can report that many refugees from those lands made their way to New Cyberia, where they are being educated and incorporated into the populace.  :p

The Zedoljev Foriegn Office has been watching the rumblings in Wells-Ville for some time now. Now it's tragically collapsed, and there is the fear of anarchy and possible terrorist attacks, we had no choice but to invade the north to protect our country. 2 hours after we learnt of the collapse, which was very early in the morning, Zedoljan Paratroopers were dropped into the surrounding countryside around 6 of the most major cities, and armoured brigades and infantry divisions have raced north, currently in a drive to hook up with Zedoljan troops around the Capital, Hunky-Dory and take control of the major infrastructre before the whole thing disintergrates. At the same time, Zedoljan Marines arived in WV territory on the mainland and seized control of several naval bases. NFZ Fleets already in the strait have moved quickly to blockade the ports, so that no renegade ships may escape. It was imperative that no terrorist faction could be allowed to take an advantage so much in the heart of the region. We have already drawn up a map with a proposal of juristicion areas for former Wells-Ville, which has been mailed to our counterparts in New Cyberia, that is open for debate.

Expect a more full response to the crisis in Wells-Ville when Premier Khillianov is woken later.
He has been suffering from flu just recently, so it was not wise to wake him in the middle of the night. This morning's actions have been dealt with admirably by Deputy Premier Dzhosef Alexiovich Zvevoneyev and newly appointed War Commisar, Mikhail Daf'dovich Rilankov.

Welle's-Ville's collapse is a very tragic event, most of the former Empire Nation's are now In Anarchy. We owe much to Welle's-Ville for saving the Anime Cat Girl, So we're giving it 7 Million Slavlic's as a Nation re-building grant when the chaos is over.

Thanks Zed, recieved your e-mail. There's now a page up at the HoP relating to the Wells-Ville Accords (as I'm calling them   ;)) here.

There is a revised border, which increases my territory a little, but preserves your requirements. Is this acceptable?

And also, do you have the large versions of the maps you made a while back?

Nurdbotia would like to set up a Trade agreement with Cyberia, Europa and The Empire of the Mad Capper. Nurdbotia is trading with Zedoljev by the way.

The New Cyberian Government today responded to accusations of being a warlike nation by issuing this statement:

"New Cyberia is of course obligated to uphold a democratic system within our borders, and in any land which we absorb from collapsed nations. However, it was felt that as New Cyberia has a population problem, and being the closest nation to Wells-ville, that annexing the land would prove a solution to both problems. We wish to point out to Spifflandia that in the current plans, there is territory allocated for their own expansion, should they so desire."

"However", the statement continued, "if Spifflandia wishes for international observation, New Cyberia would be more than happy to accomodate a team from any of the three diplomatic powers; the DROOP, the UN, or the MuDeAl. We leave the door open for Spifflandia to respond. At the moment, however, we are continuing to plan to annex the Wells-ville territories to protect the citizens from outside tyranny, and we would like to point out that both the Zedoljevian and Cyberian governments are proceeding with tact and caution."

There is room on the map for an expantion of land for yourself Spifflandia. The MID (Ministry of Foriegn Affairs) are putting the final touches to a version 2 of the WV Accord map, plus an updated regional map, both of which we will wire to our New Cyberian collegues.

Premier Khillianov is still down with the flu, and has remained in bed all day long. We have talked with his personal doctor, and have agreed not to worry him with the recent news. We are convident our Premier will recover fully in time.

Goverment:

A unique system. From small to large: communal governments, provincial governments, federal government.

Each of these govts. has a "core" of elected individuals. The cores of the communes unite to the govt. of the province. The cores of the provincial govts. unite to make up the federal govt.

Each core is connected through high tech means of communication (real time video conferencing and virtual
reality conferencing).


The bicameral federal govt. has a senate and a chamber.

Most political parties are far left to center-right on the horizontal political scale and libertarian to centrist on the vertical political scale. This means legislation is favourable to great personal freedom and centrist economic freedom.

Economy:

Introduction:

Neo-Stronbadiski at the moment is a Nation writhe was war, destruction and confusion. But hopefully, with the grant Issued by The Communist Nation's of PEEL once the rebel's have been eliminated and the nation rebuilt we swear we shall propser.

Geography:
At the moment, Wild undergrowth or huge rubble strewn area's of former cities decimated by the war. Strongbadiski had some fine Forrest's before the anarchy.


People:
The People of Strongbadiski are strong, brave and compassionete. Sadly, they or also very poor due to the War that has raged for seven years.


Goverment:
A number of small parties are fighting to control the Goverment, but with the help of several communist nation's forces the Communist Party that led the brief-Eutopia of Neo-Strongbadiski will rise to power and bring hope to the people once more. Several other Parties are fighting for dominience, Including The Facist's, The Monarchist's and Democratic's.


Economy:
Our economy is shattered due to the War, but over time we shall re-build.

Military:
 A million men fight under us as the original Strongbadiski Red Army, helped by 4 Million men from Nurdbotia, South Slimmy, Strategoski and Zedoljev.

Culture and Sport:
None at the moment, though we are a strong Slavlic race with noble ties to the past.

Alliances:

The People's Republic of Nurdbotia, The People's Republic of Zedoljev, The People's Republic of South Slimmy and The People's Republic of Strategoski.

Nurdbotia and Strategoski are willing to help and trade with us in the future.


And Nurdbotia would like to change it's Introduction too "The First and mightiest state of the people!".

the spifflandian government today issued the following statement:

Right!

Thanks to the miracle that is insomnia (:rolleyes  :), we have a website update!

Update list (16th September 2003):

- All data I've received so far has been uploaded (except Avatarium, which I promise I'll get around to next).

- New XML data from NationStates.

- Updated the Factbook, Collapsed Nations, and the HoP Hall of Fame.

- Regenerated DROOP reports

- Uploaded both Zed's redrawn map (excellent quality, by the way, but 250k) and realedwins much appreciated Labelled PEEL Map (both are under the HoP).

- New Wells-ville Accords Image, marking current boundaries.


Message to the Djorvak/Spifflandia governments: If you wish to claim part of Wells-ville as your own, then PM me or Zed in NationStates and he'll update the map (won't you, Zed   ;)). The purple area on the Wells-Ville accords map (located under the HoP) is unclaimed territory.
