:)

I'm happy we made it through this difficult time.

EDIT: Also, ACTUAL new trailer looks FUCKING awesome.

Wondered if Michael Caine was going to be in this one, so glad he is. Him and Chris must be besties.

The one on traileraddict is new, the one in Books post is the last trailer, SOLVED!

I'm really not sure what the plot actually is, but this might just be the greatest mind-fucking movie ever. It looks awesome.

John Landis (Animal House, Blues Brothers) directs Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis as two Irish grave robbers in a black comedy? I'm in!

The Hobbit was delayed by MGM because they're "reviewing their finances. Here's an article that talks both about Del Toro leaving and MGM holding it.

Additionally, MGM's delaying Bond 23 indefinitely for the same reason.

I saw that on Yahoo.  What a screwed up situation; sounds like all MGM projects will be shelved until they're sold & the debt is reorganized.  The boneheads took on billions of dollars in debt for acquisition purposes, and had to hit homeruns on every picture, which they didn't.  Further proof that Hollywood now isn't about being creative & making new movies; it's about making sequels & remakes, which are safe.  Sigh...

If some 'safe' movies don't even come come close to generating their hoped-for revenue what does the term 'safe' mean?

Funny thing about that is, the "safe" movies (sequels & remakes) inevitably don't have much initial development budget money, as the filmmakers are many times simply following a formula.  Then, if word of mouth and/or reviews get around that the sequel or remake is not as good as expected (quality wise), they have less than hoped for revenues.  Suits killing "safe" films (which they only want to make); good job, knuckleheads.

I saw a preview of "Jonah Hex", which looked really interesting.  Until I saw it had megan fox & her high squeaky voice & lack of acting ability.  Think I'll wait for this one to come out on cable.

lol I'm downloading (and looking forward to watching) this film called Holy Water, about some Irish thieves who rob a van full of Viagra and accidentally end up contaminating the towns water supply when they hide it from the cops, the tag line is genius:
"Time for a stiff drink" roffles.

It even features Linda Hamilton and Tommy "Tiny" Lister. :D

I hope this is actually made. It was just a proof of concept for WB to actually go ahead with this kind of reboot. This made me happy.

I was incredibly impressed with what I just saw. If done right this would prove that video game movies can be done correctly. And was that Jeri Ryan as Sonia?

Well that's a silly idea. Proof: watch the Inception trailer on mute, it's awful.

Red looks rad!
Edit: Good use of Aerosmith song for the trailer too.

More like good use of out-of-tune Brazil for the trailer.
