I'm not sure. The writer's strike is still on, so they won't have been able to produce more episodes.

But they still have three episodes in the bag, I believe.

I can't answer the question proper, I just know that it'll probably be back in either January or February.

January 29 is the day the tenth episode will air. That's what I read lately, and it seems to be official.

Seems to me they're making us wait months for shows with about one- three episodes in the can only to air and follow another long wait.

House, Prison Break, Scrubs, Desperate Housewives

I agree the second part of the second season was really, really good (the part without Stacey).  Now going through the 3 season DVDs, and the show is still pretty good, although House's "jerk" percentage is going way up in the Tritter episodes.

Wow, I may finish this before the writer strike ends...  :(

For those interested, the three remaining episodes will air on January 29th, at the same time than beofre, on February 3rd, right after the Super Bowl, and on February 5th, at regular time too.

Here's some reviews of both Frozen and Don't Ever Change:

Frozen was an excellent episode.  Worth the wait. Even in a far away distance House is able to solve medical mysteries. Miro Sorvino was good in this, too, and she was practically a female House. You could tell House was falling for her, and he was heartbroken when he found out she already had a boyfriend. Powerful episode! This show just keeps getting better and better. I also liked the subplot about Wilson, the only thing I didn't like was Cameron getting fired.

As for Don't Ever Change, it was a great episode  as well.  I loved the subplot with Wilson, Amber, and House.  Pure genius!  I give this episode, 4/5.

Cameron didn't get fired, Cuddy was pretending.

I'm on this board and another one, and almost everyone didn't grasp that Cameron wasn't fired. Frozen was a very solid episode, perphaps the best from this season. Don't ever Change was good, but I didn't like the fact that Wilson/CTB/House thingy was taking way too much space.

As far as show status goes, they're trying to get another four episodes in before the season is officially over.

they are begining to air season 4 here and im hooked..
Its so refreshing and good seing they how its developing all those new characters..
In the start i thought "well, they are the tipical one-shot characters and by the end of the ep we will have Foreman,Chase and Cameron back and all back to normal"..
im delighted to say i was wrong.. not only the trio is not back but they even develop the "new" characters even many of them are thrown up eventually.. and yet you see Cameron,Chase and Foreman in and out the stories .. its really refreshing and you realize you are not watching the same crap as many other shows with the "all things are allways the same" crap..

im in the 5th ep yet and dont know if the new characters are here to stay or if in 2, 4 or 10 eps all things will be like before..but i allready im satisfied with this arc, even if its not an arc and things are really going to change..

4X05 "Angels" or so was brilliant..i liked a lot how House had to talk with the "ghost" and the face of Cuddy when house threated her with  messing with "her contraceptive pills" ... does that means that she is currently screwing with somebody?  :D that was a gold moment (and afterwards when he says to Foreman "Cuddy might became pregnant.."

Well, I just saw the three last episodes. Great episodes. Especially Frozen.

The whole Wilson/Amber thing, was kinda cool. Fun to see Wilson back in the dating game, and this time with someone we have actually seen before  :p

And 13 bisexual? Let's all hope for a Thirteen/Cameron relationship. Would totally be hot.

Although, still kinda annoys me that I haven't heard anyone use 13's real name yet. I know what it is, but isn't it time that someone start using it? Or have I missed something?

I agree. Frozen was the best of the three episodes.

But with regard to 13's bisexuality thing I do hope that the writers don't feast on this now.

Frozen definately best not only of the 3 but possibly the whole season. I'd kindof like to see the character return next season for a multi-ep arc of some sort (she won't be in the antarctic forever), and even in a single ep her interactions with House were excellent.

13's bisexuality strikes me as such a gratuitous attempt to inject more lasciviousness into the show.

Also, I still hate CTB.

As surprising the Amber/Wilson thing was, I can't say that I'm very fond of this story arc.

Frozen was definitely the best of season 4, along 97 seconds.

By the way, House officially returns at the end of april, and will focus on House reactions to Wilson relationship, as said by David Shore himself in an interview.

I am not so pleased about this story arc.

Just finished Season 1-3 House!  And outlasted the writer's strike, yay!

Saw Frozen, and agree it was excellent.  Don't think the show is slowing down at all.  Am curious along with everyone else whether the "regular characters" (the ducklings) will be seen more frequently in the future.

Having seen the series compressed, I'm surprised how much Chase grew as a character the third season.  And the Huddy is brewing.

And yes all this is Obviousville...  ;)

Sk8: I'll have to see where they're going with the Amber story before I make my final judgement; It was partly my own judgemental world-view, but I always felt like Wilson was more evil than House; house says what me thinks, and can be extremely cold-hearted about it, but he's generally honest about his intentions, to an extent that makes his life considerably more difficult, while Wilson is just super-good at playing the Infinitely Compassionate Doctor(tm). I just don't buy that; a doctor who cares too much about their patients can't retain the objectivity to be a great doctor, especially if they specialize in cancer cases. Nobody seemed to agree with me on this until House caught Wilson in his affair with his dying cancer patient, but since then, there's been no development on the issue. They seemed to be exploring that angle a bit with CTB (who I refuse to call Amber), so despite my hatred for her, I'm currious to see where they go with the arc.

How Wilson screwing arround with a dying pacient can be evil..
Well its forbiden.. but i would not call that Wilson taking advantage of.. he is simply more vulnerable to those things.. House aparently has learn how distance himself from others pacienct.. but no so much..
Renember that he helped people euthanice themselves before in the past ..and even Wilson agreed with him in those cases

I'm sorry, but a doctor fucking their dying patients is one of those things I classify as evil, plain and simple. Sure, shit happens, but at best it shows Wilson to be weak, and at worst down-right exploitative.

I've always felt like House pretends he doesn't care, because deep down he does and the facade is necessary to keep himself distanced. Wilson is the exact opposite - he pretends to care but deep down he doesn't.

Watching Frozen made me think that House has (in a way) to give up Wilson just like he had to realize that he had to give up his patient (her name escapes me right now).

I just watched frozen..

oh no... Cutathroat bitch is back!

Now i wonder if she is what we all are thinking (just manipulating Wilson to get a job in the Princeton hospital or a recomendation) or maybe its more real ..
It could be like that woman in the prev episode.. wich House deduced her to be a prostitute..and she didnt denied it and followed House game.. only in the end House realizing how wrong he was with her.
the best was that she wasnt even a bit angry.. she recogniced House as a sincere person and he making a sincere deduction..and simply sowed him the plain and simply thruth with no hate.. and House realizing it ..
Other thing that i like much in later season is that House makes mistakes much more often.. some people complained that he "never did mistakes" and was too clever.. but he does make mistakes.. as he said..thats why he needs someone who oposites his ideas (Foreman mostly)

Eh this new team is just a weak way to spice up the formula of the show. They are in no way as interesting as Chase and Cameron were with Foreman.

The episode last night was great!  The House/Wilson/Amber subplolt was cool, as was the team thinking House had the same disease the 'nice' guy had.

Even though there's 4 more episodes to go until the show's season finale.

So pretty much every single part of that two-parter was amazing, y/y?

I was watching it with my dad so the ending only had me crying a little as I was consciously trying to suppress my tears; had I been alone I'm sure the screen would have been too blurry for me. Both parts were well done and the ending of the first part showing the bus crash and all was directed absolutely beautifully in particular.

Really strong ending for this season, don't think they would have gone quite as big if the writer's strike hadn't happened honestly but that made up for it... Both two-parters in this show have been really beautiful.

I really wanna go back and rewatch this whole series again, I'm probably gonna save that for summer though but wooow, just a great season finale.

Great way to end the season.  Wilson loved Amber very much, and now that she's gone, he'll be in really bad grief.  I liked how House risked his life to remember what sickness Amber had.  And he hurt himself in the process.   Awesome season finale that ended a great season.

In the first part where House mentions that movie "Altered States", in the one part where House tells Thirteen, "Why don't you wake up next to a dead cow and call the police?"  Was that from the same movie or was it from something else?
