Definitely my favorite show currently on TV. Hugh is brilliant in this show. The medical aspect of the show is solid and intriguing, yet some of the other characters, especially in the "n00bs" thing that's going on right now, aren't as strong as they could be.

I do agree that the last episode was good. It and the first episode of this season were the best in a while. The second episode, where the applicants were introduced, wasn't as good, in my opinion, yet introduced the subject all the same.

I have to say that my favorite applicants have been the old guy, the black Mormon, and Cut-throat Bitch. I hate C-T B, but I love to hate her. She's a great character. Of all the applicants, I would like the most for this trio to be House's new team. It would be a nice mix of characters.

I do agree that the show as getting a little stale with the previous team, but, for me, it was mostly Cameron that I as getting sick of. I don't mind Chase as much, and don't mind Foreman at all. I think it'll be nice when Foreman returns to the hospital if he were to get his own team and Cuddy would make House and him compete sometimes.

The next episode will definitely be interesting.

The Mormon guy just is Foreman junior, so I don't really like him. My favorites are the ridiculously old frud, thirteen and the guy who is Kumar. I just hate C-T-B, can't stand characters like her.

Anyway, even if these new apllicants bring differents things to the show, I can't wait to have some regular formula episode, with his team and evrything. And I just can't wait episodes expanding the charecter even more. That's pretty much the main reason why I love this show : the main character is very deep.

Dah, stupid baseball. Hate that.

I like this show a lot.  The new season is really going off to a good start.  We'll have to wait next week for a new episode, though.  You just know all the other cast members won't be gone for too long.

I like how in this show, unlike most doctor shows, it uses humor and sarcasm.

Gocad: Yeah, I remember that episode. But, hey, do you have any other explanation for how she can see dead people, other than she's a reject X-Man.

I love the aspect of humor. I've said to others that only a comedian like Hugh could pull off House because of his sarcastic element.

Concerning next week episode : I doubt it will use the same pattern has Season 2 finale. But I certainly have no idea at how they will explain it.

Concerning the humor : It's not just about House sarcasm, it's about every aspect of his personality : you hate him, but he's pretty right on every point. Rarely did a show contained a center character as obnoxious and cold hearted as House.

It will be interesting to see what happens with his leg pain in this season.

I don't know the explanation, but the trailer for the episode does imply that she can see and hear dead people.

Well, yeah, it's a shame that Sam Carter's dad had to go, but that wasn't exactly a surprise. None of those applicants will become perpanent characters.

But if I had the choice then I would pick CTB.  :evillaugh:

Try to keep the thread spoiler free please. Especially everything concerning the new caracters please.

Anyone believe what CTB is saying ? Is Thirteen playing the game just to pick up House interest ?

Also, clips from the next episode are up on the official website.

Keep Kumar in the team! I'm sure his father's pulled strings to get him in this job. Don't go and "fuck it all up".

Another very very nice episode of House. Season 4 so far is really great. That "new doctors" storyline is better than the Tritter one and that his Wife one too.

Next week episode looks absolutely fantastic.

Have to say I was nervous how things would go after the end of season 3, but they have indeed pulled it off well. Carter's Dad was also my favorite, but oh well. Kumar is my second favorite, followed by Mormon guy.

I disagree with sk8pro about mormon guy being foreman jr... I don't find them to be particuarly similar. What's the same is House's racist jabs to rattle him. And CTB is entertaining, but I think I'd get really sick of her if she became a permanent character. Of course, of the females that only leaves the blonde, who just hasn't really stood out as particurlarly interesting to me so far.

I don't like 13 or Kumar much. They aren't interesting to me, especially with Kumar. I like CTB, Black Mormon, and Plastic Surgeon, though.

I do like how it looks like Foreman and House won't be so much of adversaries this season. That storyline was getting a little boring. Also, this guy was one of my favorite patients so far.

Concerning Foreman VS House : it will most likely go back to season 1 and 2 : confrontations because of House's methods or decision towards patients. Not like end of season 3, where Foreman just hated House because he didn't want to be like him. He seems to have realised now that he IS House Junior, no matter what he does.

Concerning the characters : to be honest, I quite like them all. There's no one that I just say "Bleh, I hate this guy". Everyone of them is interesting so far.

And what is Thirteen scared of ?

Oh, and next week episode clips are on the official website.

He's a variation of Foreman. But perhaps we think in these dimensions because we don't know any better. And I'm quite sure that House is no different.

Remember the episode where he was aboard the airplane and he picked three passengers to help him with his diagnosis?  ;)

An unmarked, black helicopter?

Well, I guess they couldn't resist that one.

And yeah, I think CTB will have a seizure or something when she realizes that House has given away one of the precious fellowships.

Btw, could it be that CTB has financial problems?

The House portion of the story was interesting, as well as the Foreman dynamic, but the fellows and patient weren't too interesting at all.

Next episode should be interesting. It will show how different characters react to being in the spotlight.

Yesterday's episode rocked!  Hugh Laurie and Omar Epps were dynamite!  The best part was when Wilson called House, and House answered, "Inspector Gadget!"  Had me cracking up!  Next week's episode looks promising, too!

okay i know this is late to this thread but i have to say i really cant stand House. im sorry its just so full of its self and its laughably stupid. ever patient comes in with the worlds worst problems, exploding eyes, peeing blood, body parts falling off. and they are always because of the simplest things "the reason you left testical fell off because you were eating to many blow pops" or other crazy things like that

In case you didn't know, every case is medically very possible. A doctor is part of the writing teams, and the medical aspect is checked by 3 other doctors If I'm not mistaken.

Thats true.... i readed an interview of one doctor who works as consultant in "House" and said that all the cases were possible and ocurred in the realty, alltought they were extremly rare..

Also i have a friend who is a doctor and back when House began airing here he was amazed at the precision and veracity of the info displayed

Frobot, would you rather have an episode where the patient just has a cold, or a headache?  It's the weird cases that make it interesting.  That, and House's sarcasm.

...and Cuddy's breasts.

I liked House's reaction to the finished documentary. Sure, it was predictable, but nevertheless funny.  ;)

CIA girl's fate was understandable, but still a bit harsh, although you cannot really blame House for his decision.

Well being harsh is all House. Still felt bad for the girl tought.

And House reaction over the final edit of the documentary was indeed very funny.

Seems like next week episode will be more focused on Thirteen, as this week was focused on Taub.

Yay, probably the best episode this season. The past two episodes were a bit too unrealistic for my taste.

The best part was prob'ly when Wilson was telling that camera crew that House was a wiccan. Maybe the funniest moment in season four. Wilson was so... serious, and it was so random and didn't have anything to do with the story at all. Just brilliant :-D

I thought that the plastic surgeon was going to get fired, but I was glad when he fired the CIA chick instead. She was just boring, and 13 is totally hotter than her.

I agree with everything Hawk just said. Especially the part about 13, although I don't like her too much as a character.
