Hey, Jesse.  I couldn't find you in IM and I never got a reply from you about whether or not you want to try and do these Leela UT2004 skins.  I have what I think you'll need zipped up and ready to go.  If you've decided not to do it, it's quite alright.

The process of making those was really kinda comical.  Jesse doesn't have any 3d software to see the skins applied to the model.  So we were IM'ing stuff back and forth.  I sent her the templates, she'd draw a bit, she'd send it to me, I'd apply them to the model, take some pics, send 'em back to her, she'd draw some more based on that, lather, rinse, repeat ad-finitum.    We have another session or two to go, but it looks like this project is going to turn out pretty well.  Thanks again, Jesse.

@Crash_7: Will there also be a voicepack? Or is the original UT one compatiple with UT2004? It wouldn't be such fun without Leela's taunts.

It's for 2004.  Actually, the way I'm doing it and the skeleton I'm using are 2003 methods, though.  So it might work in that game.  I don't have it installed anymore, though.  Yes, I plan on a brand new voicepack for her.  The old UT one was excellent (still have that game installed, BTW), but I think it might be fun to do an original one.  Besides, the old UT voicepack was only from episodes through season 3, I believe.  And I have a few quotes in mind from later shows.

I keep getting comments that she's got a big butt... Her butt sticks out a bit in the show.  I guess nobody notices because they're too busy looking at other things...

I don't have any idea how you are doing this 3D-pictures/UT-skins and I'll probably don't learn it within the next time, but it's always amazing what people (in that case: you) can do with art-programms.

  I intentionally avoided giving her a skinny supermodel figure.  She's curvy on the show, so I made her curvy.  She really does have a substantial butt, so I modeled her that way.  Oh, and I noticed the proportions of her backside on the show.  I'm kind of a butt man.   

  The thought of a Fry model has crossed my mind.  Problem is I'm a bit slow at this.  I'm worried that by the time we got it done, not many people would be playing UT2004 anymore.  But if you're willing to do the skins, I suppose I could take a whack at it when we finish up Leela.

Ah, snap.  That's cool and I did check that page out on Leela Zone.com I just didn't read it.

And FemJesse, I'm not the best drawer in the world (comparing myself to you, hell no). But I love writing & drawing. I mean I intend to be a writer when I grow up. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to write a crappy fic. Trust me when I start to write something I'm sure of, it comes out pretty damn good in the end. But that's just me. *wink, wink*.
