Its technically my 6th thing to go on Amazon, but the first one I was credited for in the description! So yea its a new feeling. Also it feels so final, done, complete and other thesaurical words for that. The next one should be done soon and strangely enough there's a holdup on the children's book that was just scanned from someone else's illustrations...

They're saying the color isn't in the lines... but I haven't altered the image from what I was given... I'm so confused.

(Plus any good illustrator knows that you don't need to color in the lines)

Not that I'm a good illustrator or anything :p

Winna is pregnant?

Yea if it goes to kindle that means they'll need a reformatted pdf. A little extra money for me!

FJ has more talent in her little finger than most of other PEELers have, combined.

To give credit, Joel Evans, aka Coldangel is another broadly talented PEELer. His art is his own style and is addictive, he can write fan-fiction and other fiction very well, so I feel he's in the "FJ League of Talented People".

Then we have the other artists, like El-Man, Freako, Marcus, Capt Skusking, Demeter (and many others that I'm not naming but not out of spite) who do great fan art and probably could work professionally if they really wanted to.

Then there's the rest of us.  Talentless leeches who love to subsist from the generosity of the truely talented.

Jess, I hope you make a lot of money and get invited to a lot of cocktail parties.

A little more than half. Just blocking some color in the foreground.

Self referencing reference!

So I guess that is FemJesse being carried by Leela?
Now I bet her husband wishes her talents could make it real instead of just a drawing.   :flirt:

ok....I'm confused.  It is a women being carried by Leela (or a symbolic Leela).  But the women being carried is not FemJesse.  And...

the drawing is fantastic, but is it just me or is Leela's head much larger than she-who-we-are-apparently-not-naming's head?

Leela's head is always larger than most people's d/t that huge, cantalope-sized, bloodshot eye.

We can name her.  Her name is Colleen.

(That's Kelly's middle name.)

Appears larger. There's a difference.

Leela's head is actualy the same size as Colleen's(?) in that picture. Near as I can tell.
Her eye just makes her head seem bigger, but its not really.

I'm not responsible for the drivel Christian Poems inside. Just the pretty cover and layout. Also font choice was because the lady said anything under 14 would be too small for old eyes.

Well the cover came out good at least.

None of the profits go back to the foundation so I don't care whether you buy this one or not. If you like terrible poetry that doesn't follow iambic pentameter and only coincides with AABB and ABAB formats, then knock yourself out. Also, there's a lot of shoehorning.

The reason I'm being so nasty was because the lady gave me a real "Anyone could do what you're doing" vibe over the phone and well... if you gave her poems a read it just seems very hypocritical to treat someone like that.

Bon Appetite.

That was a pretty good font choice.  It was very big, and stretched out in a concavity manner most appropriate. :)

Not bad.. You defenitly do texturing and UV Mapping better than I can.
But I knew that already from your other texturing job.
IIRC, you textured an Unreal Tournament model right?

Ive done a few models for a different game(Sword fo the Stars) and Im much better at inorganic stuff.
Rather than clutter your thread with pics Ill just post a link to my thread on the SotS forums.
The first post contains Wings 3D models but on the second page I started using MAX.
There is a bunch of pics in there, but its 21 pages long .. so if your interested. *shugg*
