Yep, he is the friend. Chobbits is an ok tv series. The manga is actually much more complex and interesting. It focases on Hideki not Chi, and Hideki has a lot more personality.

I was pissed off at Manga-chobits ending.

He has to vow NEVER to have sex with Chii, EVER?  Dammit, I saw the porn on the cover, and the thing with Shinbo and Takako, Yumi and Chioru, I thought for sure, I was gonna see, or at least have it suggested, that Hideki and Chii were gonna get down!

I just got the Trigun Manga and I can say it rocks. Yusuhiro Nightow's art is very cool. Stories alittle differnt from the series but what the hey. So here have soem Trigun pics.

Well I'll be damned. The guy who directed Excel Saga also directed GXP (Shinichi Watanabe aka Nabeshin). It expalins a lot.

You lazy b**tard nurdy. It's not hard to find them (very easy in fact)
On another knowldge quest. I am now only realising that the social politcs behind Tenchi Muyo is a lot more complex than I knew (as far as I can tell Masaki Kajishima is abit of an ego maniac, whech has led to rift between the creatives staff). There is not just one OVA continuity but three. Oh it's all very confusing but it does kinda explain why Kiyone is in Daughter of Darkness, which is OVA.

As I understand it, Daughter of Darkness was based on a series of novels, the first of which was written after the first six OAV episodes were made, but before the later episodes were.  Kiyone appears in Daughter of Darkness because she was in the novels later in the series.

@David A. Yep that's how I understood it and by the sounds of it, her version of the Tenchi story line is better . All I need to do is find the translations of her novels.

As far as I know, no such translations exist.
