And I saw my first untampered Bebop episode.The Mexican Cowboy on that Bounty Hunter show had me in tears of laughter.

(It was Sesion 9 by the way).

( = Ken il guerrerio, Ken le survivant, Hokuto no Ken,...)

I used to watch the anime series, and I recently started "acquiring" them all.
I also saw the anime movie.

They used to show it at Sunday mornings when I was younger. Not quite suited for preschoolers, with the exploding heads and all.

Other anime nostalgia from that era:
Nicky Larson (guy often gets hit with 10,000 lbs cartoon hammers)
The Knights of Saint Seya.

I apparantly have Mallet phobia thanks to Timothy Mallet.I wince remembering his TV show which was filmed in the mid eighties and re-shown when I was 6 back in the early nighties.Everytime there's a malleting in one of the less serious animes I hear that awful song he made.

Ohh,Nice Faye-Art.

At the moment I am full of rage,It was foolish to record the last episode of Outlaw Star on the same VHS Tape that had 2-and-a-half hour's Anime recorded.It ended just after the Last Villan Exclaimed "Gene Starwind!".

Typical.

I'll have to wait months to see that episode again.CNX hasnt't bought Series 2.

OS doesn't have a second season, there is another show in the same universe with a 16 year old captin with giant breasts but other then that nothing.

Another OS series, I never heard of this. Is the captain a Ctarl-Ctarl, like Aisha? Anyways, I'd like to see more of the OS universe. That show had endless possiblities!

Angel Links is the name, it follows Deus and the rest of the private security force which is completly different then their episode. The story follows a 16 year old rich girl who inherits the company... there are a couple random cameos and the arms on the ships other then that it is generic.

Uh,I didn't see the end of Outlaw Star.Just the bit when the Boss Kaye Pirate said Gene's name and the tape ended.Can you tell me what happend in detail..?

The details are sketchy for me, was this before Gene and Melfina embraced in the 'virtual' world? I think the lead Kaye pirate was trying to infiltrate the Outlaw Star to stop them. But I could be wrong.

If that fails, how about an anecdote then:

Sorry, Nurdy...I've been a Bebop fan for a year longer than you. Plus, I got the free soundtrack CD when I bought the Perfect Sessions on Amazon.com.

Oh, and "Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heaven's Door" should be released in America sometime in April, or so I heard.

I liked Mushroom Samba.What with Spike getting high,Jet socialisng with flora and Faye 'Swimming'.And Ed's constant Dumb Luck,Plus the Seventies Sterotypes.

I also learned,"Never leave a wooden coffin in the road" from that episode.Nothing else.Yepp.

I like Ballad of Fallen Angles where you see Spike and Vicioeus (spelling) fight in the Chapple it's a really great episode in my opinion.

I like "Mushroom Samba", but I also think it got overrated a lot. It's not just 'the crew gets high on mushrooms'. I like Ed, but there are much more funnier episodes.

"Cowboy Funk," for instance. I love Cowboy Andy, and I honestly love Trigun because I believe either Vash's early antics was inspired by Andy's, or vice versa. "Toys in the Attic" -- great, great funny episdoe.

My favorite, total, is either "Ballad of Fallen Angels", "Hard Luck Woman", or maybe even "Jupiter Jazz 1 and 2". I really can't decide. It usually bounces among those three (or four).

Evan's is right,Toy's in the Attack is a very funny Episode where we learn 4 funny lesson's and see Spike attempt to light a Cigarette with a flamethrower.

Here is a pic from the Read or Die Manga... not as good as the Anime... right now Yomiko is hanging out with a high school author and protecting her from being kidnapped by an obsessed fan... A lot of anime cleches in the manga that were not in the anime.
