lol I kind of like how Fry sometimes puts Leela out of the picture when it comes to selfish pleasures - namely money.  Sure his dedication to Leela is alright but sometimes it gets to be too much, so it's cool when he acts more normal.  Specifically, when he rejects the beach bully or becomes an innocent suckup ("yes I did Leels" LOL).  It just reminds me of why I like Bender and That Guy so much - money and greed win in the end! But I still think Fry is awesome and wish I was more like him lol.

Fry's the main character and his stupidity leads into many great jokes. I wouldn't say Fry is fully irreplaceable, because there is many other strong and funny characters.

It's okay if you hate Fry. There are several PEELers who hate Leela, and nearly everybody hates Cubert. But, at least, do you at least like "Futurama"?

I am curious, though, do you just hate the immaturity and think he's not funny? Is it something else that makes you dislike him so much? Also, I know it's possible, but it seems like it may be difficult to enjoy much of Futurama if you don't like Fry at all since he's the main character and in the great majority of scenes.

 Well, let me just say that I am NOT evil. I simply, in full sanity, voted the 6th option on the poll. However, my two favorite Futurama characters are Bender and Zoidberg.

People who hate Fry? Ok that's new,anyways Fry used to be my favorite character  before season 7 (A lot of reasons are behind this,I'm not in the mood to explain,I'll just wait for 7B if something changes) but I would never hate him,he has done stupid stuff but he also has done amazing stuff.

Fry is like one of these friends what you know,they aren't very smart or doesn't have a special talent,but you still enjoy his company because is all he can offer,his friendship and help when you need it,even if he doesn't help at all (but at least he tried) also he has good morals,he knows what is right and he has a really sweet heart. (I dunno, I can relate him,wow is amazing how a cartoon character can change your life).

Anyways,I respect your opinion, sometimes I'm like that with Bender,sometimes I can't stand characters who get a lot of attention or just they are mean without reason (except Zapp, who's an idiot and maybe he doesn't realize what he does,heh, is a long story of why I like him),so yeah you aren't evil for have your own opinion

Got Billy West as his voice actor.
But in Season 6 (You can tell that I despise it so much), he makes totally useless pop-culture references (The Kardashians and Lady Gaga).
