Can understand why people are disapointed about Seth McFarlane doing a voice for the next Futurama movie. I only like Seth for American Dad, I'm not too keen on Family Guy. It's good to know that BG is the #6 best selling DVD right now!
I dont think its a bad thing if Seth McFarlane is doing a voice in the new movie, I think McFarlane is a good guy, its just his family guy crew sucks and his writters suck too.

hey look what i found a brief segment of what the film is about!!
All the other galaxies will be green with envy! In this all-new Futurama extravaganza, mankind stands on the brink of a wondrous new Green Age. But ancient forces of darkness, three years older than time itself, have returned to wreak destruction. Even more shocking: Bender's in love with a married fembot, and Leela's on the run from the law – Zapp Brannigan's law! Fry is the last hope of the universe... so if you're in the universe, you might want to think about going somewhere else. Could this be the end of the Planet Express crew forever? Say it ain't so, meatbag! Off we go, Into the Wild Green Yonder!
I take it that'll be what's written on the back of the box? I'd imagine so anyway...unless you just made that up. Sounds like Fry's due to be the saviour again at any rate, I just hope he gets some credit this time... Wonder when the cover art will be revealed?

There is very little about this that is not full of either: awesome, win, or whatever it is legends are made of. It sounds like it will be a great continuation from BG, with the new awesome clean fuel replacing dark matter (green age), then all hell breaks loose! FaithinITWGY++; I can not wait for this movie!!!!!!!

Under three months now...not long at all.
This is practically for ever!
I'm trusting all you awesome fanfic writers to keep me alive until February.
Do something to keep you occupied in the mean time. I'm using the gap to watch all the episodes in order...spacing it out a bit so I end up watching about 4/5 eps a week. Brannigan Begin Again is next in line. Bit of a nerdy thing to do but very enjoyable...haven't seen some episodes in years and it's been good to revisit them. If all goes to plan I should finish this marathon by watching Bender's Game on the 18th of Feb..and then onto the big one.

Is it just me or are we missing something about Bender?
If I can remember correctly, doesn't Bender's time travel in BBS have something to do with this film. (Like the metal he's made of is decaying or something like that?)
Ah yes, I forgot about that. I'm sure there's a couple of others that I missed all of which will undoubtedly be pointed out soon enough. There's probably going to be a few more plot hints coming to the surface as February approaches. Even before the other films there was always quite a focus on this one as it may well be the last Futurama ever...but now the other's have been released all eyes will be on this one. Going to be a tantalising wait.

I'm very interested on one point of 4th Futurama. It's given on http://www.animationmagazine.net/article/9264 Who the hell is “Number 9 Man”? Maybe I missed something?
He's been hidden in the first 2 series. A Flight To Remember commentary tells you who he is. Also soylentOrange, what article was that?

I'm kinda skeptical because the one picture really does suggest a male vs female war, which isn't really what I was hoping for with the "epic ancient war thing". Then again I was skeptical before BBS came out too (which lead to some distrubingly ironic drawings on Archonix's part) so I'm going to try to learn from that and be more optimistic. Considering I've been looking forward to this film since the four movies were originally announced (around early 2007 i think, correct me if I'm wrong)
June 22, 2006 actually. I only remember that because it was the same day I got my driver's license.

Looks like I've been waiting much longer than I thought then! And yes, it does seem to suggest a battle of the sexes but I'd be surprised if that's the only conflict going on. It hardly fits the label of "ancient force" which is what's being banded about now. BBS certainly had a more complicated plot that I had originally envisaged going by press releases and preview framegrabs, I imagine that it'll be the same with this one. They seem to be making an effort to give very little away about ITWGY despite it's release date being under three months away.

Doesn't anybody realize the last shot previewed in the trailer was of Maxi-Golf?
Note the giant bucket of colorful golf balls behind Fry.
