This thread is not for spoilers, rumors and/or speculation.  This thread is.

Please, try to keep this thread relatively clean, so that it will be easy to find actual, factual news regarding the movies.

Reaction to stuff is good, but please keep moderation in mind.

The self-control kind of moderation, not the website moderators kind.

Actually, them too.

Woo, new thread!
From the last one: Yes, of course, it was the Wired article. Should've remembered that, especially considering it was one of the few I bothered to read. That drawing and some others were in a special section, separate from the main article.

My guess for AUS is 25th or 26th of June because those kinds of things come out after USA but before UK, and also on a wednesday or thursday.

There's not much to talk about so I thought I'd mention that in the UK BWABB has been rated a 12 certificate, just as BBS was here too... http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1&sku=777869

According to the infosphere, "The official trailer for the film will be released on June 3 with the DVD release of Meet the Spartans."   And if someone on the internet said it, it must be true.

Good: BwaBB trailer.

Bad: At least one of us will have to rent Meet The Spartans.  :(

Geez, they must have been on a tight budget if they paid for a trailer on the meet the spartans dvd.

Can't wait, this will be a nice appetiser for the main course. On a side note I'm pretty sure BBS is selling well in England from what I've seen. Shops selling out, decent chart positions. It's looking successful...

More than likely the other way around, that is, Meet the Spartans is using Futurama to sell more DVD's.

Either that or they're both products of Fox Home Entertainment.

Speaking of Fox Home Entertainment, I found this while looking at the BWaBB page:

Quote
  • Bender or cast reads credits
  • Bender sings his version of the Futurama Song - which consists solely of "Bite my shiny metal ass" or "Bender is great!"
This I look forward to laughing uproariously at.

I'm going to rent Meet the Spartans only to see the BWaBB trailer.  I don't care to see the movie.

I rented "Fantastic Four, Rise of the Silver Surfer" and I didn't find the BBS trailer.  All I found was The Simpsons movie trailer.  Well, at least I got to see the trailer on the BBS DVD.

Yeah, I saw something about that a while ago. Never heard of an "Annie" before that though, so I learned something.  :D

As some might have seen on IMDB - here is link for the first review of BwBB: http://www.screenjabber.com/futurama_beastbillionbacksDVD

No spoilers except of things we already know and it´s solid positive reaction.

Fantastic find, that is a great well rounded review! God I can't wait to see this  :D It sounds absolutely awesome to the max as I suspected! Loving the sounds of all the plots and suplots. They say it's funnier than BBS which can only be a good thing. They also reveal a bit about Benders Game and that Mom will be back in it...

this sounds really promising; I'm just a little wary of the Fry-Colleen subplot.  Only a month has passed and Fry has a girlfriend, after being devoted to Leela for years and years?

Yeah, that's why some of us think she's probably a sort of form or manifestation of the beast, and Fry is under some kind of mind control, possibly.
In addition, she'll likely cause Leela a little jealousy, though whether she'll actually show it or not is a different matter.

She'll probably claim she's just trying to protect him or something.

Leela: "Bender, this is Fry's decision ... and he made it wrong. So it's time for us to interfere in his life."

We get to see Leela, huzzah! Seems she's going to be the beast-battling heroine. Ironic considering the cover art.

I pretty much guessed that to begin with, and the futurama returns teaser image sort of implies it, so no surprise. It may even be what Nibbler meant when he called her the other. Meaning she'd stop anything that actually managed to mind control Fry.
