I used to post in the general fan art thread, but now that I'm making more stuff I decided to make a thread of my own 

These are my previous works:
Metal Zoidberg
Leela by the window
Leela smiling
Fry

And here comes something new: 


The "story" behind this is: After I posted the Metal Zoidberg, I got a request about doing a Futurama band in the same style. Well, here they are!

I actually spent waay too much time on this picture, but in the end it was well worth it. You're welcome to use it as a wallpaper, and/or give me some feedback on it  Please?

Those are really good! The best I've seen in a long time. And the Futurama Band picture was cool. Great Job!

Why do I come into these threads?  I always get jealous, 'cause I couldn't draw to save my life.  I really appreciate the callback to "Parasites Lost" in the Leela's window pic.  Very good stuff.

@GFF - you only have one thumb between your two hands?  What are you, some sort of mutant?  Back into the sewers with you!

I totally agree with you! I don't like these popular "metal" bands everyone loves, and these bands only seem to do it because of money, fame etc. I feel Evanescence is one of them, but I can listen to their music, though...

I wish there were more bands like Metallica, Manowar and System Of A Down...

That band one is awesome, I also like the linear shading style on the Fry pic, the hair looks so good.

I really appreciate the joke linked to parasites lost, its something for on-the-ball fans to recognise. I once did a Leela pic that is only funny if you've seen both the deep south and anthology of interest 2.

Yeah, I think there's even more to a picture when it has references to one or several episodes. It sort of connects the picture even more to the show. I'd love to see that pic you made! Is it published anywhere on the web?

Thanks! It's done with a mouse pad tablet in Photoshop, so I guess it's digital

Well, I'm sorry, but the picture I promised you yesterday isn't finished yet. The reason? A stupid lightning-storm...! I wouldn't risk my computer, so I had it turned off the entire day... (Just in case a lightning would strike) :/
I can still hear some distant rumbling of thunder right now. I just hope it'll be gone by tomorrow, so I can finish the picture

I drew it last year, so its in the midst of a vast (but organised) pile of A4 sheets under my bed. I'm moving house at the weekend, so I'll look out for it whilst packing. Watch this space!

Fan art of bands is very popular in the UK futurama comics, there was a 'Frytallica' pic, and a whole fan comic based on some Canadian band.

I can't figure out the 2 references in the dream pic, are they anything to do with the last dozen episodes of season 5? (I haven't seen them yet)

Zoidberg227: Thanks! At first I was worried that Fry was a little to old to dream about being a superhero at 17, but then I realized he's just a big kid

Zmithy: Cool picture you made! You're very good at drawing! And yep, the 2 references are from the last season. "Less Than Hero" is the most obvious one, and the last one that no-one guessed, was "Leela's Homeworld" (the bracelet Leela wears).
And, yes, I've thought about submitting my stuff to TLZ. But who should I submit it to? There are 6 different people behind the site

Technically, they're early season four episodes (but I'm going by production seasons rather than airing seasons).  There were four production seasons altogether, and I highly recommend you pick up the DVDs for all of them.
