hobojobo: Thank you I try to do things a little different. It's always good to stand out, at least when it comes to art. Kyle_M: Aw, thanks! Me too, actually, I'm a long time fan of pencils. I didn't even know Imageshack had a ranking system. For some reason, it kind of scares me... Zmithy: Thank you for the great feedback, I really appreciate your advices. I'm sorry about your scanner, though. I know the feeling. I've tried scanning some drawings of mine, but they turn out crap... But you're addicted, huh? That's great! I've decided that my picture was pretty plain and boring, so I spiced it up a little this evening with some shading: All right, TOTPD! *shakes ass*

Thank you, everybody! I finally have a new one, an Xmas-themed picture I've been working on lately. Finally finished it today. The dimensions are a little big, 1024x768 wallpaper size, so please be patient if it takes a while to load. I also have a couple of Leela in the making; they're just a few touches from being finished, me being the perfectionist I am. They'll probably be up very soon. Anyway, please comment my xmas-pic I tried to get that xmas-feeling to it. How did I do? (Oh, and Imageshack resizes the image when you click for the bigger version, which makes the lines look crummy. Just click on the picture once to see it in the original size.)

Oh man, I wish I had seen this thread earlier! I really love your artwork Becky, it's awesome. I've always been fond of it since I saw the one you drew for Layla and the one you submitted to TLZ (with the younger Fry and Leela). You're so original. I love your pencil drawings and how you color them, still leaving the pencil shadings. It gives it a nice, soft kind of look. Simplistic but in a different sort of way. Hard to say, but I love it, and I'm glad I've gotten to see more of your work now . Oh, and just to let you know, the comics you drew made me laugh out loud, and so did the Bender picture .

Wow, thank you everyone! I didn't expect so many replies! Here a little something, because I'm in a good mood. It may be a little early for you Americans, but here in Europe it's Xmas-eve already : Originally posted by say what now: I really love your artwork Becky, it's awesome. I'm glad you like it! Originally posted by Zoidberg227: Nice work, as usual! Now, I must ask ... did Bender cross his name off that muffin, or add his name to it. What would a robot do with a muffin? Keep it up, though!
Hmm, I don't know, really. The muffin was sort of a reference to "Time Keeps On Slippin'", when Zoidberg "celebrates" his birthday. I thought the single muffin on the table was brilliant, and I wanted to put it in the Xmas-picture, just for laughs. Muffins are funny! It was originally for Zoidberg in my picture, since Bender just wrote his name on everything by the tree out of pure evil and greed; he didn't care about what it was. Maybe he'd sell it to Zoidberg later on? Anyway, the two Leela-pictures I promised were finished earlier than I thought they'd be. I based them on poses done by myself and a friend of mine, which I why I made her somewhat realistic: Personally, I'm more satisfied with the first one. Edit: There's something weird with the thumbnail-code from Imageshack. It looks fine in the preview, though. Odd. It works if you paste the URL-code into your browser.
Edit 2: Fixed! Yay!

Nice work Becky, I think you're very good! I really liked the xmas one with Bender. Classic Would you mind if I used your old metal zoidberg as my band's logo? We need something to put on flyers and stuff, and we're known as 'Into the Zoid', so this would be perfect! (we're a stonerrock band, at the moment we mostly play Kyuss covers. And a few Hüsker Dü's) EDIT: stupid typo

I just that style, the detail on the cloth and the poses! Flicking between the two Leela pictures makes a nice little 'dancing' animation.

In fact, I feel honored for the fact that you want to use my picture as your logo! Love your band's name, by the way Rock on! Emy and Ása B are worth mentioning (I love your art, girls!). I could've finished a picture tonight, by the way, but my arms are sort of fucked up and exhausted because I carried a heavy PC a few hundred meters tonight... I have trouble writing on the keyboard as well. Heh. I need to work out more

Haven't been here in a while... I really like those latest Leela pics, Becky. When I saw them, I must say they reminded me of a pic EL did several months back. Similar yet varying styles... Becky: EvilLunch: Eerie coincidence, or am I just seeing things? Either way, I thought EL's picture was awesome, and yours is just as great. Nice job. The blue one from the previous page is fabulous as well. You're one of the best artists here, keep it up.

Welcome to PEEL, Fry's Lady! And thanks JBERGES: Woah, the pictures are similar! Really weird coincidence, because I've never seen that particular piece from EvilLunch (at least I can't remember it). Anyway, thanks for the nice comment! TL: Thank you! Uncle Sam is a nickname for the US government, right? In that case, I got it Two new pieces today, probably the last ones of 2004! Well, technically, it's just one, but it's colored in two different ways. I tried an "agent-look" on these. Yeah, I know, Leela with a gun isn't very original, but I wanted to try it out... Opinions...?
