First episode I've disliked since the "Slash isn't real" episode, but after a few watches I liked that, I doubt I will ever like this episode. This episode started off quite good in the first 5 minutes with the trains hitting all the young adults, but the rest was really "meh". Very disappointing after how amazing the first two episodes were this season. I guess 16 seasons in, not every episode will be a 9 or 10/10 episode. .

I'll start by saying: CARTMAN IS JEWISH NOW? WHAT HAVE YOU CRAZY ASSHOLES DONE? Okay. In all honesty, is this the beginning of the end of South Park? Sure, we can keep telling ourselves "it's not true, they're renewed until season 20!" but ultimately Matt and Trey have the power to do whatever they want with it, even ending the series. It's happening guys, the South Parkopalypse. Time to lower your standards and pray for a good episode.

"And the worst thing for me: South Park is turning into Family Guy."
This has been said of so many animated shows over the years. It was never a productive comment then and it's not a productive comment now. It's just a dumb thing to say. As for the "soap opera" stuff, I know what they're talking about. So far this season there's been a lot of those emotional scenes with piano over them. It seems pretty obvious to me that Matt and Trey are doing them in a joking way, though, purposely trying to make them seem forced and out of place. I'm not sure if they're building up to anything, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I have to say, the fapping scene in Reverse Cowgirl didn't remind me of Family Guy at all. However, Robo-Leela screaming at her arm in Rebirth did, weird...

I still think that for a 16th season, the quality is really good. It can have a Simpsons run in my opinion. Anyway, the latest episode was good in my opinion, and I really liked Kyle's role in it and the Bigfoot hunters. Solid episode, and definitely an 8/10.
Whilst I agree with the sentiment, I need to point out that South Park has only run for 226 episodes which is as many as The Simpsons had if you stop counting after season 10. And I mean... seasons 1-10 of The Simpsons trumps seasons 1-16 of South Park.

But South Park pushed the boundries and limits of what was allowed to be shown on TV (remember, it started in 1997) and isn't scared to touch upon topics and situations from the real world that can cause some real offense/damage/controversy.
But so did The Simpsons (remember, it started in 1989). And they weren't scared of touching on topics and situations that could cause controversy, either - they just didn't go after it as violently. I adore South Park, I really do - but The Simpsons in its prime is just... well, it even gives Futurama a run for its money - that's how good it is.
