Well, as usual, i'm gonna follow T&M's advice and NOT watch Inception like I did not watch Avatar cos they told for what it really is...now my reaction on the fly :

You should see Inception (if you did not...I can't really tell if you did).  It is really good.  Especially in the theater or if you have a home entertainment system.

EDIT: Though I think this might be something from a South Park I have missed so if that's the case, just disregard this post/suggestion.  I'll eventually get around to see it.

I absolutely adored Inception and still thought this episode ripped on it hilariously. FYP, go see it and decide for yourself whether you like it for yourself. The episode really exaggerated, the fact is the film isn't as complicated as people say and it's actually extremely easy to understand if you pay attention. As long as you're not drunk or high, that is.

Complicated=/=cool is probably a legitimate argument though.

Coon 2 was good, not as laugh-out-loud ridiculous/hilarious as last week's but it definitely had its moment, especially with DP and such.

I had a good laugh at the Clockwork Orange reference but though overall it was a weaker episode.

The Clockwork Orange reference and all the Tony Hayward commercials were hilarious, the rest of the episode was okay.

Regarding coon 2, I'm suprised that nobody has talked about who they think 'Mysterion' is. Mysterion's true identity will finally be revealled (to us the viewers) in the 2nd part of the episode anyway.

Here's my 2 cents on who I think everyone is:

So,

The "confirmed" identities, as we know, are:
Coon - Cartman
Iron Maiden - Timmy
Tupperware - Token
Tool Shed - Stan

That just leaves Human Kite, Mintberry, Mosquito, and Mysterion, and the candidates are Kyle, Clyde, Bradley, and Kenny.

The Human Kite IS, 100%, Kyle. This is because Kyle CANNOT be the other 3. Kyle cannot be Mysterion because he is seen with him in the episode 'The Coon'. Kyle also cannot be mintberry because Kyle is not blonde, nor would let Cartman treat him like that. And finally, Kyle is not the mosquito, because 1 - Again, kyle would not let Cartman beat him up, and 2 - The mosquito's childish 'cant we be called mosquito and friends?' is not something Kyle would say. So, by process of elimination, Kyle IS the human Kite! Further evidence to support this is Human Kite happily kicking Cartman out of coon and friends.

This leaves Mintberry, Mosquito, and Mysterion, and the candidates are Clyde, Bradley, and Kenny.

Mintberry Crunch IS, 100%, Kenny. This is because Kenny CANNOT be Mosquito because Mosquito said he almost got told off by his mum for the alarm. This does not apply to Kenny. Kenny also CANNOT be Mysterion because Kenny and Mysterion are seen on the title sequence as separate characters! Therefore, Kenny IS Mintberry Crunch! Further evidence to support this is Mintberry Crunch drinking water in the cafe, plus having a poorly made costume.

This leaves Mosquito and Mysterion, and the candidates are Clyde and Bradley.

Bradley IS, 100%, Mosquito. This is because Bradley CANNOT be mysterion due to the fact that Cartman doesn't mention Bradley's name in 'the coon'. So Bradley is Mosquito. Further evidence to support this is when Cartman says to him 'nobody even knows you Mosquito' - this fits, because nobody really knows Bradley either.

This leaves Clyde as Mysterion. It's the only explanation. Plus, Clyde can't be Mintberry as he's not blonde. Clyde is Mysterion. Boring result I know.

So from that:
Human Kite = Kyle
Mintberry Crunch = Kenny
Mosquito = Bradley
Mysterion = Clyde

This is the only explanation for it to make sense IMO.

Obviously though, this may be wrong. But for me, it's the only way it could make sense. But we all know that Matt and Trey may have something up their sleeves that we would never think of... looking forward to the second part!

But Jarvio, you're forgetting that Clyde is voiced by Trey and Mysterion is clearly voiced by Matt.

I still think he's most likely Craig.

It can't be Craig because Craig wasn't one of the 8 heros in coon and friends.

Mysterion is either Clyde, Kenny, Bradley, or Kyle (as the other 4 identities, stan/cartman/token/timmy, have already been revealed).

I did say I think Mysterion is Clyde... but it could be Kenny. Gotta be one of those 2 anyway. I do hope it's Kenny actually, because it would be more interesting.

It'll probably end up being someone really random seeing as how Matt and Trey said they don't know who Mysterion is in the commentary for The Coon.

Not a great episode I laughed at the reference to My Neighbour Totoro although I suspect that scene wouldn't be so funny for people who hadn't seen Totoro. Kenny was pretty cool in this episode, I didn't know that he knew he died repeatedly :p

Odd thing. Didn't they explain kenny's repeated death and rebirth in another episode, several seasons back? His mom's just endlessly pregnant, spitting out new kennys constantly, born already in their orange jackets and apparently reaching maturity with unusual swiftness? Or did I dream that up?

Quite liked the episode though. I lol'd at the parody of the Lebron James commercial (video embedded here, also amusing dissection here for those who don't know the back story), I don't even follow basketball and that commercial still irritates the hell out of me. Like many things they do, it'll kindof date the episode later, but one of the things I love about sp is that they can do this kid of instant commentary, as the commercial had just started airing in the last week.

You didn't dream it no, I remember that episode too.

I'm just gonna consider it a one-off joke that doesn't go with the continuity.

The episode 'Kenny Dies' also doesn't make sense with continuity, as he is killed off for an entire series, with the other characters acknowledging that he's dead in many episodes that follow.

I guess South Park is not always a show that fully makes sense with continuity (not necessarily a bad thing btw). Family Guy is the same in that respect. Futurama on the other hand seems to take continuity very seriously.

Yeah, there was also an episode in which Kyle was going to die unless Cartman gave him one of his kidneys and Kenny was pissed of at Stan for being so upset about Kyle dying but not caring whenever Kenny dies.

Agreed, Futurama breaks continuity all the time, there being only 2 parallel universes in Jurassic Bark and the whole Space wasps/bees thing, I'm sure there were nerds everywhere getting all worked up about that one.

I never understood why people refer to the only 3 parallel universes thing as a "continuity error" seeing as how they obviously didn't know that the other parallel universes from The Farnsworth Parabox existed in I Dated a Robot.

But anyways, on topic: this week's episodes was pretty good, the stuff with Kenny was pretty interesting and the Mintberry Crunch stuff was just the right amount of silly.

Yeah, it did NOT need to be 3 parts long. I can't help but feel as if The Coon, which was my favourite episode of Season 13, is ruined now that the true identity of Mysterion has been revealed. And don't get me started on the whole "Kenny's ability to die and come back is a FUCKING PLOT POINT" thing. Why, Matt and Trey, WHY?!

Very, very disappointed indeed. Though Mint Berry Crunch WAS hilarious, I have to admit.
