Oh wow it says in an interview I found with Matt and Trey via Wikipedia that they are tired of making the show. :(

They said they are literally out of comedic material. Which makes sense, since the new eps have been 50-50 so far. I enjoyed Royal Pudding though, I think everyone did. =P

Also, new episode announced, 'T.M.I.'. Cartman gets anger management. =P

Makes sense to me. Matt and Trey strike me as guys who have a lot of dignity in what they do. I think if they ever feel as if they're making episodes that are just unfunny and don't deserve to be made, they'll consider stopping the show right then and there.

New south park was definitely the best one of the season. Also, did anyone notice Brock Sampson on the chart?

It was a pretty good episode and I liked the stuff with Randy teaching the class and all. I don't think it was as good as Royal Pudding in terms of hilarity at least...

Ya, I enjoyed most of the episode but the end seemed like they couldn't really think of anything funny.

I can pretty much say the exact same thing about T.M.I. as I did about Funnybot... It starts out gold then loses steam about a third or so of the way in. Overall, pretty average, despite a few moments of sheer brilliance.

Holy shit, "It happens to be called Poutine in Montreal!"

hahah, it sure does, I wanna try that now, as McD's fries are the best and what can I say KFC gravy is one of my vices food-wise...:)

But without cheese we call it simply a frite-sauce....

I'm sure our good friend ilovebender.com would be sad about the revelation in this episode ;)

So I give it a C because while funny, it seems like they ran out of time, could have used like 10 more mins to develop more, oh well.

Pip's still alive, seems like most of the supporting characters from the first few seasons are used very rarely, like Barbrady, Shelley, Jimbo, and Ned

Yeah I heard about that. They were originally going to put it on the DVD completely uncensored, but I guess they fear that some Muslim is going to pick it up and purposely watch 200 and 201, which sucks. :nono:

It still makes me laugh that Muhammad appeared Uncensored in the Season 5 episode 'Super Best Friends'. No one even mentions that. :laff:

Oh wow it says in an interview I found with Matt and Trey via Wikipedia that they are tired of making the show. :(
Eh, they're pretty busy with The Book of Mormon musical right now. Matt and Trey always get burned out when they take on additional projects - they said the exact same thing during production of Team America. I wouldn't read too far into it.

Annnnyway, new episode (or, well, last week's episode, anyway, which I've only just been able to watch)! A lot of people seemed to hate the Slash thing, personally I thought it was fucking brilliant. It never felt like a case of "running the joke into the ground" because it was always just there in the background for the most part, and it actually had a funny pay-off at the end. Well, funny in the sense that I stared at the screen blankly for about 2 minutes after it ended, contemplating whether I thought it was a stroke of comic genius or just completely insane, before bursting out with laughter to myself at the fact that they actually took it that far. :p

But yeah, Crack Baby Athletic Association was a VERY solid episode. Nice character storyline with Kyle, the crack baby basketball thing was beautifully wrong, and the satire was woven through the plot nicely, never coming on too strong or taking focus away from the storyline. I really, really enjoyed it... Pronabably tied with 1503 for my favourite episode of this season so far. They got off to a shaky start but they're settling in nicely now.  :)
