Well, last week they had 4 re-runs in a row of fG instead of new episodes for any of the three Animation Domination shows, and there were no new eps the week before either, so they better have new ones today...

I know that, like Family Guy, Arrested Development and The Simpsons only got three episodes through their new season before they were taken off for sports, repeats and what-not, but they're both returning on November. As I said before, Family Guy will probably be doing the same thing. God, I figured that out and I don't even LIVE in America.

I heard on Planet Family Guy that once Season 3's aired there, you guys should be moving onto the new Season 4 pretty soon.

Alright, I've now seen Season 5 so far... god, what the hell happened? I actually enjoyed Season 4 apart from a few bad episodes (Breaking Out is Hard to Do, Model Misbehaviour), but the quality is so bad now... I only laughed once during all three episodes, and that was at the Peter/James Woods relationship in Peter's Got Woods. For a show that relies solely on humour, the writers damn well better pick up the pace soon, or I just might stop watching altogether.

Pretty good episode. I agreed with everything that was said about the FCC. The Simpsons shot was also funny.

They even got the long, drawn out sequences that are supposed to be funny down! It's almost like the writers think that if they can pull a one-note joke out long enough, you're going to have to find it funny, eventually.

I thought Family Guy was a mixed bag, and most of the new stuff that I've seen hasn't been very good at all, but last night's episode was quite funny, I must admit. The Osama opening was a long, drawn out scene that actually succeeded in being funny!

The alternate intro of Stewie on his trike (or whatever) was hilarious, the opening scene was very funny also, and the show itself, which didn't relate to nor the intro or the opening scene (which came before the intro) in any way was still hilarious. The last few episodes weren't as great, but I loved this one.

Ah, such pointless-yet-funny entertainment FG brings us; pointing out the clinton monuments resemblace to a penis, Peter Television's "The sideboob hour", censoring real life with klaxons...

You answered your own question.

The Shining twins are cool, but not as cool as the fat twins on motorcycles from the Guinness Book of Records.

Futurama could've done an opening scene like that.  I just read the Family Guy in a Nutshell comic!  Funny!  That comic strip pretty much sums up Family Guy right there!

As far as I know, Volumes 1 & 2 (which cover seasons 1-3) are already out. Volume 3 (which will cover season 4) is coming out sometime this year I believe.

Yeah, but he was asking about the Australian release, which is very different. Here, they released Seasons 1, 2 and 3 seperately, in different episode order, and with no special features.

There's no set release date for Season 4, but given that it's not even out in the US yet, I'd say we've got one hell of a wait. Hell, Season 1 only came out October 2003, Season 2 came out August/September 2004, and Season 3 came out mid-2005, so that shows how behind we are. It's anyone's guess, really... although I can tell you that Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story should be out in January 2006.

I got to see a new one today: It was a little bit better than the last ones I've seen. The old guy thing is getting old. I loved it when Brian dances as the internet banana guy.

I love Indiana Jones too, but 3 plot altering references in 5 or 6 episodes is a little much.

-Some parts were funny, and others were not. Family Guy started out strong, but it's starting to go down. (It's kinda like the reverse of "The War At Home". That show started out crappily, but now it's progessively getting better.)
-The old man singing got old, and the things happening during it weren't that funny.

4/5. Season 5 so far (503) is great. I liked this one mainly because it made me laugh and sometimes fg doesn't and Stewie finally bonded with Peter. Would have been 5 if not for the crappy Herbert song number and subplot. They could have chosen something a lot better for a subplot. Also I've had enough of Ollie. Hahaha flash bannana was crazy. This episode would definetly have been classic without Herbert.

I liked the A-Team episode, and the James Woods one was OK, but this season has been suprisingly bad so far. It really started dropping off near the end of season 4 and never really picked up again.

That doctor scene and Peter talking to the fat guys for the first time scene dragged on too long. If it was shorter, then it would've been funny, but the mere fact that it went on so long was what killed it.
