For a second, I almost forgot I was looking at an IDIOT!" But you know who has lame lines? Zoidberg.

Anyone else note that for each lame line posted, at least to other posters disagrees and say it's one of the best ever. I guess Futurama really had something for everybody.

That was a great line in SP3K, but the line in The Cryonic Woman was a vastly inferior callback. Fry: Michelle! Baby! Michelle: It's not working out Fry. (the limo pulls away) Pauly Shore: (shouting) 'tis better to have loved than lost! N'est pas? (makes stupid noises) Gawd.

"As for me, a lot of people thought..." not to be mean, but that's hilarious! and although TLOTF may have had a lot of lame dialogue, but it also contained the line: "Hey baby, ever done it in a suitcase?" which more than makes up for 3 episodes of lame quotes.

That wasn't dire! But (no offense) your grammar is - the line is; "You can't give up, Professor; there were plenty of times in my era when I was going to give up, but I never did. Never! Are you even listening to me? Oh, I give up."
It wasn't that bad. I think Leela's crying noises in general are pretty poor acting - the rest of it is pretty good, but those crying noises just make me cringe.

the grunka lunkas were great. "Hey look! The disgusting little men are starting to sing!" phnog really annoyed me though. the "don't give up" spiel was terrible; like every show, there were many lame lines i can't really remember b/c they were....lame.

I've never had much of a problem with her crying, because usually whenever anyone cries on Futurama it's supposed to be funny, and the way she does it doesn't sound serious.

You mean like in WMIBACIL? Fry: Just look her in the eye, start crying, and say 'I've never been so happy'. Leela: Ugh! If a guy ever did that to me, I'd know it. Wait a second. They've all been doing that to me. Even Shawn! *runs off crying* That bit has me in stitches every time.

I thought the whole little dialogue in "Love's Labours..." where it's revealed Leela slept with Brannigan was just kind of awkward. Bender's "So what, it's not like you slept with him or anything" just seemed to come out of nowhere. I don't remember very many lame lines, to tell the truth, and believe me, I don't mind

The lamest lines are the jokes that are too popular and are not funny anymore. Even though, I barely find a bad line in futurama.
