One of them looks like a Cyclophage skull...

Woah, 2 Cyclophage references in the space of two episodes, 7ACV16 and 7ACV17.

*edit*

The skull behind the aquarium might also belong to this gentleman:

(Maybe even a "last second addition" because of Harryhausen's death?)

Neat! I love the details and the fire amy is holding
Looks like fry's head is just copy+paste on that block, looks a bit off... I don't think this will be t.:the terrestial... I'd rather say 'the inhuman torch' for some reason...

Might be the beginning of a process to free him.
Also, to increase the "Ouch" factor should the block drop to it's front.
(Which -with Fry's face open- is rather likely to happen big grin )

Most countdown images feature plot relevant details. Yet -as classic sci fi elements are often used as single gags- I wonder wether that scene is also one of those throwaway gags.

I like how professor and Amy are going to deforst Fry like it's not a big deal.

Also, to increase the "Ouch" factor should the block drop to it's front.
(Which -with Fry's face open- is rather likely to happen big grin )
Yeah, that should definitely happen.

I wonder if Fry is able to speak at that moment: "C'mon, hurry up now!"

Strap in the guitar is attached oddly to neck rather than to body. I know, unnecessary point.

So, was the picture of Fry in carbonite from "T.: The Terrestrial" or "Forty Percent Leadbelly"?

Technically it's a dobro and is often played on the lap with a solid steel piece used on the frets.

As demonstrated e.g. by this gentleman here:
http://www.martinsmusikkiste.de/artikelimages_klein/xxl_206827.jpg

Technically it's a dobro and is often played on the lap with a solid steel piece used on the frets.

Little additional info for the non-muscians:
The instrument itself is a resonator guitar. "Dobro" is the name of a registered trademark held by the Gibson Guitar Corporation, used for a paticular design of resonator guitars.
(Yep, that one was nitpicky wink )

The name "Big Caboose" might be fitting for some travelling folk musician with certain hobo-like qualities.
The combination of "Railway" and "Music" made me think of "Starlight Express", but I guess he will not be used for such a reference. Wrong kind of music, and the design also does not look glamorous/colourful enough.

I like how in the above picture Amy's big goggles are still smaller than the Prof's giant glassess, that poor half mad hlaf insane blind as a bat man.

Also Big Caboose seems very classic in his design, and that's a good thing!
