Hi, I was just reading some brilliant fan fics and thought: "What if I made a fanfic that was half fic, half game?" So I pondered over the idea for a few years, I mean minutes, and decided that I'd ask a few people some questions before I started, so i'd know whether you'd be interested enough. It goes a bit like this, I post part 1 of the story and at the end of the part I give 2 or 3 options of what you would like to do e.g:
blah blah blah (the story will be here) blah blah. Do you:
A) Talk to Leela?
B) Talk to Bender?
C) Talk to Zoidberg?
Then some people post the option they chose and I'll put up the three next parts. Two of them end with YOU LOSE! One of the options will give you another set of options and will let you carry on. If you don't understand, please ask me. But first I need to ask you a few things!
This will be a bit like theFighting Fantasy series. Has anyone ever read any of them?
Would you like a type of fanfic like this?

Never read any Fighting Fantasy stuff.Infact,I never even heard of it.
Sure,I'd like a fan-fic like this.It's basically like a interactive fan-fic only...Explain the rules to me again...

Okay i'll try...
Step 1) Read Part 1, at the end of part one there will be 2 or 3 options to choose from e.g (the ones in my previous post).
Step 2) Choose an option.
Step 3) you can tell me the option you chose if you want
Step 4) I will post 2 or 3 new parts/paragraphs depending on how many options there were in the previous part. Two of them will end with YOU LOSE!. One of them will let you continue your adventure.
Step 5) Boast to your fellow PEELers if you get to continue and they lose!
If you didn't understand that then I think you'll pick it up as we go along.

OK. I think i've got it now. It sounds good. So are you going to write the replys to the 3 options and once everyone has chosen post them or write them when every-one has chosen?

Well not everyone has to choose, i mean if they did I wouldn't be able to keep track of who's choosing. I might leave a 2 day gap or something so you have that time to read the part and choose. Anyway, who wants part one? cos I have it right here (If you want to get a head start on reading):

In this story you are Fry

Part 1
It was a hot summer's afternoon and you have nothing to do. Bender was asleep on the sofa, Leela was at her appartment sick, Hermes was filling out forms, Zoidberg was in a dustbin, Amy was at the shops and Professor was at his work-stool napping. You keep pondering over the idea of taking the ship out for a spin. You could go to a planet to make a delivery, except there's nothing to deliver. Unless, unless you woke the Professor up and ask if you could deliver something... but there was no point in waking him. Then a thought struck you. You could go and practice your pilot skills in the ship, that would impress Leela, she may even feel a bit better afterwards. You walk into the ship to find the keys in the ignition, damn, if only Bender were here, he'd know to do. But then you remember that you can pilot the ship! It's just something you need to do slowly. You turn the ship's keys and listen to the engine purr. The roof opens, you hit the accelerator and you're suprised when you realise you've done quite well so far. You seem to be having such fun that you forget the time. You've been out in space for 3 hours! You decide it's time to get the ship home, so you head back to Earth. But a stream of meteors stop you, you put your foot down on the brake... but find yourself heading towards the meteors faster. You idiot! You have your two feet on the accelerator! You nosedive into a huge meteor, spin out of control and head down through space. You're trying your best to navigate down to Earth and it's working, except you have no idea where you're going to land. Somehow you avoid Big Apple Bank and crashland on the road near Madison Cube Garden. The airbag came out and the seat ejector threw you out the ship and into a garbage truck. But you landed on something squishy. It was Zoidberg.
"Fry! You've come to join me for an afternoon snack!" he said delightedly.
You almost beg that he doesn't look round and see what happened to the ship- it was a complete wreck. "Look at these coffee cups I just found! They still have coffee in them!" he said smiling. "Want some?".
"Err... sorry Zoidberg I've got to go and err... clean my toilet," you reply, jumping out the truck. You wave at him, just to devote his attention away from the ship. As soon as the truck is gone, you begin to panic. Will you...
A) Talk to Leela?
B) Talk to Bender?
C) Talk to Professor?
You Decide!

Heh,you should've put a joke option in.Something like "use the Atom Smasher to disrupt the Space/Time Continuum,and create a Resonanse Cascade".
Also,"dont tell anyone" should have been a option.
Anyway,I choose option C.

Wow, this is a really great idea! After reading your fic so far, I've come to the conclusion that the smart thing to do would be to talk to Bender. XD Just kidding, that would be the stupid thing to do. But Fry is stupid, so I pick B.  Talk to Bender!

Cute idea! It's like those "Choose Your Own Adventure" stories I read when I was a kid.

If you wanted to make it even more interactive, you could put it on a website, with links leading to the various options. If you want, I can help you with that.

Hey, I thought of both of those too! 

It also reminded me of my own attempt at a Choose Your Ending-type of fanfic, back in... what was it, '99?  I had different numbered text files.  It didn't quite work out, though. 

I pick C, talk to the professor.  He'll probably yell, but then forget why he's angry.

Sorry for a double post here, but i've decided to change how the rules go a little. Below this is part 2 (sorry it took so long). But, i'm only going to put a long part in for the part that let's you continue, and the other options will give a brief summary of what happens. Enjoy!

Part 2
your discovering a tragedy worse than death, where you've crashed a ship, you may be entering... The Scary Door.

If you selected option A) Talk to Leela, here's your next part:

You visit Leela's appartment and tell her you crashed the ship. After a bit of confusion she bursts out in anger and starts to look a bit better-just by yelling at someone. You try to persuade her not to tell anyone about it but she wouldn't let you finish.
"You wait until everyone else hears about this!" she yells. When Leela slammed the door shut you start to think. If she does tell everyone about this you're going to be unpopular for quite a while.
YOU LOSE!

If you selected option B) Talk to Bender, heres your next part:

You decide not to panic but to keep everything calm. You walk into the PE lounge to find Bender now watching All My Circuits on TV.
"Fry, where have you been? This is a very important episode. Go grab us a few beers and sit down," he says as you start thinking again (wow, that's odd). You decide to tell Bender what happened when the show was finished. You take a few beers from the fridge and walk back into the lounge. Bender didn't need to turn his head to find out a beer was flying towards him. He just stuck out his hand and grabbed it. You sit down and use Bender's aerial to open your beer. After the show had finished, Bender started making his usual comments on the episode. "Not bad, i'll give it a 7/10. How about you Fry?" You just sat there staring at a Slurm advert. "Fry? Are you ok? You haven't said anything ever since you got in". He didn't mention anything about you being away so long.
"Uh, yeah, i'll give it a 5,"
"A 5? that's harsh, didn't you see Monique meet the hypnotoad? That was awesome!"
"Ok, a 6 then," you say. "Look Bender, I got something to tell you,"
"You need a friend?"
"No"
"You need a girlfriend?"
"No, well, yes, but not right now, I kinda crashed the Planet Express ship--- By accident".
"What? You crashed the ship? Ah well, I guess it's up to Bender to hide it".
"Wait, your gonna help me?"
"Yeah, why not?-Ahem". He coughed and held out his hand. You plant ten dollars in his metal fingers and he slips it into his chest cabinet.
"Right, if your gonna help me, we need to geep it on the deo".
"You don't even use deodorant".
"No, stpuid, DOWN LOW".
"Relax, no-one's gonna find ou..." He stops just as you hear the Professor's voice.
"Good news no-one!" the Professor says. You quickly turn to find him standing in the doorway.
"Oh, uh, sorry Profesor, my toilet's running," You say, making everything up as you go along.
"Uhhh....Whaaaaaa?" But you were already running. You somehow see Zoidberg again, in a trash can in the corridor.
"Ah, Fry, you know if your toilet doesn't get better I can give it a medi..."
You were too busy running to make out what his last words were. You didn't get far when you noticed Amy sitting at the office table.
Do you...
A) Try and distract her?
B) Grab Zoidberg and Amy, and shove them both down the drain?
C) Run and catch Bender up?
YOU DECIDE! 

If you chose option C) Talk to Professor, here's your next part:

You walk into the lab to find the Professor still asleep. You decide to wake him up and tell him straight away. "Professor, I crashed the ship". Wow, what an easy sentence. 15 minutes later, you were out the door of Planet Express, looking for a new job.
YOU LOSE!

If you lost don't worry, you can still join in, but i'll only congratulate the people who get it right on every option.
