Yeah, that ankle still needs work, been tryin got figure out why it does not look right. Hopefully i will get it sorted.

As for why she is under the tree. Well from my limited understanding of Japanese culture, there is a traditon of having a party when the cherry blossoms come into bloom (look up Hanami on wikipedia for more information). I plan to put more trees around as well and try if I can try and render some petals on the floor.

I'll see if I can get some of it coloured by tomorrow.

It certainly does. Careful Leela, it's strong stuff.   

If you can get the wrinkles and curves of that kimono looking a little better, this will be a really nice pic. Books have been written on how to draw clothing wrinkles, so take your time.

Kimono is usually designed with an obi to flatten the chest. Also the legs would not be visible and she would be kneeling, the normal sitting stance for Japanese. Nice western take on it though

The Kimono pics are very nice alanacat, although that link for the other thing does not work for the other one.

I did make alterations mearly for aestetic reasons. As for the kneeling, well when you have a little alchohol in the system the whole etiquete thing goes out of the window.

Those lines are mearly there to give me a general idea of the flow and will be removed once i ahve shadded the kimono.

Speaking of which here is a WIP before I head to the land of nod.



Still pleanty of work to do on the skin before i move to the kimono and then the background.

Thanks, It wansn't inspired by Family guy I've only ever seen a few episodes one year ago. That syle was completely made up on the spot while at school during enlgish
