Thanks.

@Marcus

Yeah, that ankle still needs work, been tryin got figure out why it does not look right. Hopefully i will get it sorted.

As for why she is under the tree. Well from my limited understanding of Japanese culture, there is a traditon of having a party when the cherry blossoms come into bloom (look up Hanami on wikipedia for more information). I plan to put more trees around as well and try if I can try and render some petals on the floor.

I'll see if I can get some of it coloured by tomorrow.

It certainly does. Careful Leela, it's strong stuff.   :)

If you can get the wrinkles and curves of that kimono looking a little better, this will be a really nice pic. Books have been written on how to draw clothing wrinkles, so take your time.

I linked this in #fc and offtopic already but I'd love some more feedback    :) it's a joint project at uni. All parts were handdrawn, most vectorised with Streamline and imported into Flash. It's not complete yet but the idea being a young boy who gets bored at a supermarket and uses his imagination to make the world a little more interesting. I might have him getting lost and overwhelmed and the bug creature helping him find his mother. Enjoy!

Kimono is usually designed with an obi to flatten the chest. Also the legs would not be visible and she would be kneeling, the normal sitting stance for Japanese. Nice western take on it though   :)

The Kimono pics are very nice alanacat, although that link for the other thing does not work for the other one.

I did make alterations mearly for aestetic reasons. As for the kneeling, well when you have a little alchohol in the system the whole etiquete thing goes out of the window.

@EL
Those lines are mearly there to give me a general idea of the flow and will be removed once i ahve shadded the kimono.

Speaking of which here is a WIP before I head to the land of nod.

Still pleanty of work to do on the skin before i move to the kimono and then the background.

Pretty in pink, good choice of colour. Nice of her to show off that much leg, too.   :)

(Oh, before you get too far, check her left foot. It's half the size of her right)

I like the colors!  Although do you think that there should be some shadows from her hair on her forehead? (considering the light source is in the uper right)
Also, best TOTP GIF ever.

I'd give it an R, at least (R as in the US rating - if I was going to give it an Australian rating, it'd be MA). Seriously, go check out the Off-Topic board. Just because pornographic pictures are banned here doesn't mean the discussion is in any way tame.

Also, great new pic Wu_konguk.  :)

RS, there's no thing as 'too much Leela' or 'wrong-way' Leela.

Leela is Leela - deserving of all interpretations and attempts of depicting her awesomeness
