PEEL Rules Apply.  I give the name of two actors and you try to connect them based on movies.

Ex: Chris Tucker and Owen Wilson

Chris Tucker was in Rush Hour with Jackie Chan who was in Shanghi Noon with Owen Wilson.

Now Samuel L. Jackson and Will Smith

The actor has to be in the movie in order for it to count.  If it is a small part or cameo, be specific. Oh and if somebody does get it other people can guess to try and create a smaller connection.  If someone makes a connection with six movies, and someone else made a connection with five movies.  The person with five would win, but if someone else gets three movies, he/she would win. But there will be some questions where you'll need to many movies, so hey try your best. However, once I or whoever posted the question returns to this topic, the chance of trying to have the shortest connection is closed.  So I suggest those who do get to post the questions, visit this topic regularly so you don't have to count so many connections.

Correct.  that is what I was thinking.  you know I once had a friend who used four movies to answer that question and I beat him with that exact answer.  Reread the rules please.

Another note, voice-overs don't count since you just hear the actors' voices and don't see them.  So Norm McDonald as the voice of the dog from Dr. Dolittle wouldn't work.

I didn't say that he did it wrong. I'm just merely asking him to read the rules before he posts his next question.  I posted new rules on my very first post before I saw his answer. Sorry if I sounded like he did it wrong.  But he did get it right, that is for sure.  Go ahead and post your question.

Kevin Bacon was in Flatliners with Julia Roberts, who was in Steel Magnolias with Shirley MacLaine, who was in Guarding Tess with Nicholas Cage.

Kevin Bacon was in the "River Wild" with Meryl Streep and she was in "Adaption" with Nicolas Cage.  I believe I've used two movies and David A used three.  that means I'm the one to beat.  It is your decision, Ekarderif. Ironically it was the game Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon that gave me the idea for this game.

Alright here is something I came up with

Chris Tucker and Chris Rock.

Just a reminder, when you are posting the titles of the movies, make it easy for people to count.  Just like what I and David A did.

I take execption to that, just because I came up with the game a year ago, practiced with my friends and won every game we played doesn't make me a geek.  I'd like to be known as a guy who is a huge movie buff and has time to make up games such has this.    :D

Really?  I had no idea!

Where did I leave my sarcasm tags?

Also, Orson Welles  was in Voyage of the Damned with the lovely and talented Faye Dunaway, who was in Festival in Cannes with the substantially less-lovely and talented William Shatner .

I deride your nerd abilities!  No nerd you.

Let's do it "Law & Order"-Style (although "Law & Order" can't be used).

Jerry Orbach and Jesse L Martin

If you can connect them under the current rules, I will be most impressed.  As of this moment, I have not found any reasonable number of links between the two that do not include TV programs (that was the rule back when I used to play this game).

The game continues with Pitt's question.  I said voice overs don't count.  Fishburne's voice is only heard, but we don't see Fishburne.  I didn't this until now.

William Shatner was in "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" with Keanu Reeves and his was in "Matrix" with Laurence Fishburne and he was in the 1995 movie, "Bad Company" with Michael Murphy.  He was in "Hot Money" with Orson Welles. That would have been more acceptable, but Dr. T has the shortest connection, so he gets to go.

I like the idea of using TV actors, but with all do respect, next time can you use actors that are not already connected to a show. It takes the challenge away from the game.  But that was a smart question.  Message to future players, if someone posts a question with two actors that are already in a TV show or movie together and you point that out and post it, before the person who posted the question can proclaim a winner, you automactically win and get to post your question.

There's a website that does all this, and I'd be too tempted to use it if there's no more than two links!

Just like you can't Gewgle for answers, you can't use IMDB or the Kevin Bacon link-o-matic site. It's cheating. (and I'm sure FryFan-etc. would agree)

Yeah, it opens up an interesting science dealing with networks, it's hard to find two actors with more than 3 links between them, if you want I can link the site if you think people will be honest and not use it?

That's why I used actors who (to the best of my knowledge) were only in a TV show together.  Your rules (particularly "based on movies" ) make it seem like only movies can be used to connect.

Also, good connection, Boingo.

That's a good one.  I've got an answer, but I'll let someone else try it.

Also, the twenty-four hour rule usually goes into effect twenty-four hours after the answer is confirmed.

Let's see, if he's not posting here, that probably means he's not on PEEL at the moment.  Which makes your telling him to go rather silly.

Not to mention double-posters go to hell.
