If I didn't know to look for her, I probably wouldn't either.

Those scenes between her and Roslin were terrific, even made me sympathetic to the Baltar's plotline.

Actually that made sense, we already had the "Dradis contact... Oh Frak!" moment with Demetrius, going back to Galactica would just be a rehash. The real drama will be to convince Adama to allow the basestar to remain with the fleet. Now that will make sparks fly.

-They killed another terciary character.. Cally,Mathias, now Jeanne.. my guess is that they are killing many secondarys.. next ones may be Seelix, Hotdog, the Tatooed pilot.. there are not much more secondaries

Racetrack, Dualla, Connor, Kowalsky, Kelly, Skulls, Figurski, heck they might even bring back Lampkin just to kill him off.

-Racetrack&Skulls: They had almost killed them 4 times : when the Cylons almost cath them in that asteroid field, when that bomb went off to kill that lawyer, when they had to eject before smashing against Colonial 1 and now a biig crash landing wich acording to the CGI should have killed them (in the CGI you see the cockpit being complety crushed)

-Dualla: I never liked her..
-Connor: He may be dead allready.. he was hit very hard in the head by that Baltar suporter woman and never seen again..
-Kowalski: Are you talking about Emily?
-Kelly: he is in the brig for killing 2 marines and one lawyer and trying to kill Romo, is like if they had killed him anyway
-Figurski: This one is likely to became a redshirt .. he never leaves the hangar but , a crash, an explosion, he comes across a Cylon or any character that shoots him (hell, maybe he come across Michael from lost "Where is WAAAAALTZ!! - Who? <<Michael shots Figurski>> - THEY TOOK MY SOOOOON! <<Michael goes away screamin>> "
anyway back to top.
my guess is that next redshirts will be Selix or Hotdog

My mistake. I was thinking about the guy Tyrol told to get out of "his" Raptor in "Escape Velocity" after Racetrack and Skulls made their crash landing. Turns out it was Figurski too.

Heh, if you want action just take a ride with Racetrack and Skulls, trouble always comes their way.

holy frak .. now things are beggining to really move..
this is what they should have done to begin with.. now finally it seems they are beggining to reveal things like the opera house and Hera..

And i share exactly the same tought as faze:

JUMP!
Basestar jumps away
me: Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

2 weeks? well.. we have been waiting for more than 1 year for season 4.. plus in 2 weeks i will be working night shift so i can watch 4X08 at work  :D

I had the impression with those 2,5 week (IMHO) episodes that they may had been saving for later.. it seems thats the way..

-I just readed in the wiki that Kara thrace being the harbringer of death may refeer to her being the ultimate responsable of bringing the final death to Cylons..if they suceed in destroying that hub (weird looking thing.. love it) Cylons will be once for all mortals.. still i cant understood why they cant replace that hub.. i mean..is a machine after all.. when the first resurrection ship was fragged everyone went "ok now Cylons cant download".. but they built another and now it appears that they have more than one.. why cant they just built another hub given the case..

Oh.. and i have the impresion that the "deploy" Vipers in the basestar will not end well. noo!! they cant kill the tatooed pilot!!

Yeps, 408, and it's definitely online in torrent form.

From TV.com:

Quote
This episode aired in the U.K. and Ireland before it debuted in the U.S. Sky One (U.K.) broadcast the episode on May 27, 2008, three days before the Sci Fi Channel broadcast. This was the first episode of Season 4 to air in the U.K. and Ireland before airing in the U.S. The Sci Fi Channel did not air an episode of the series during the previous week because of the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Man, what an actionless episode. This is a season finale?
I keep having the feeling I'm missing something, like, a whole episode.

Also, politics = boring, and who didn't see it coming that Lee Adama was going to be president.

Edit, did I miss anything? It just feels like it. The last episode was the one where the hybrid made the basestar jump, right?

And what is up with that counselor character. It's as nonsensical to me as the God speech from the matrix movies.

Can a person really own an idea, an image, or a sound?

Plus you just wanted to watch it once right... Doesn't NBC (CBS?) SciFi show it for free once a week?  Unfortunately, they don't air it at a convenient time.... when you wanna watch it....

Romo was in so the ep gets automatically and 9 from me

-This reminded me a bit of "Lost" .. they show us what happens from one side perspective and next ep after they show us what happened before to get there..

-Still the "they battled the hub" dont explain why there was Vipers without pilots.. that mk.VII Viper was empty and the canopy was on.. so no ejection.and was intact.. same surelly with the other mk.II .. the problem is Pike (ST reference?) Raptor having been shooted .. havin in count that FTL jumps are instantaneous he was shot short before making the jump to the fleet

Romo's car was shocking.. so he is "seeing" the cat? that would put him in Cylon candidate list.. but Adama alto "saw" his late Wife in "A day in the life" and that didnt put him in the Cylon suspenct list..  Romo was awesome as allways.. Sheppards acting is trully first class..
In the end i have the impression that he was testing Lee.. wich would put Lampkin in "i really care about who rules" kind.. but was also curious who the test involved the death of poor Lanze
(ok time for another redshirt death:

-You killed Lanze.. YOU BASTARDS!

end of funny note)
and the death of his family.. if you recall when he talked to Caprica Six about his wife in season 3 he said "we had 10 years..and then it all fell apart its own weight".. but now we know he was actually coming back home with the cat from the vet when the Cylons jumped in orbit and begin nuking the planet.. then he chosed to go back to the shuttle instead running home and try save they (wich would had been heroic but futil) its then the "fall apart" the Cylon attack instead what we all thinking of separation? in the season 3 dialog he then sais he spents time after time in an empty bed realising how he miss her.. that fits with the attack.. What changes this? That Romo feel guilt about being unnable to do nothing to save his family in Gemenon instead of just "we divorced and  i feel bad".. also that if this is the case now.. if we look back at the meetin with Caprica Six in season 3 .. he was talking about loosing his wife with the very person responsable for that

-Caprica 6 pregnant? You have to be kidding i said when i eard Adama.. WTF.. Cylons are supposed to be unnable to reproduce among themselves.. ok.. the excuse is that the final 5 are different Cylons than the other 7..but its becaming a "now i do whatever i want and break any clues because i simply claim they are different and period".. I dont like that..
despite my feelings its pretty interesting now.. because lets renember Season 2..
when they are building the cell when Athena will be locked .. Virtual 6 says to Baltar "here is where our child will be born" .. everyone asumed she talked about Helo/Athena son.. now Caprica 6 is locked in that very same cell and pregnant..
coincidence?

-What expects Adama to found sitting in a raptor in space... Roslin BaseStar to jump back? thats optimistic

-Galactica air-wing is finally established after she absorbed Pegasus Vipers: 80 Vipers ..
thats low .. because Galactica had some 34 Vipers when Peggy arrived.. ok lets asume Peggy had only 40 Vipers (they looked a lot more in the end of "Pegasus" but Peggy lost some 40 or more in Razor's post attack battles) but they were supposedly building 2 squads of new Vipers.. wich would then be 40 more.. so 120.. ok they lost some 3 or 4 Vipers in Scar and we dont know how many Vipers they lost in the battles of New Caprica and Ionian Nebula.. but there is a 30-40 off number ..
maybe Galactica has more.. but there is some lets say 10-12 "off-line" for mainteinance obviously they will not transfer those to the basestar.

What seems off is that Starbuck sais they now are low on Vipers to do a CAP.. they had LESS than 40 before encountering Pegasus.. now they have 40-50 plus at least 20 raptors

-Poor Zarek.. now its clear that he can never be pressident as long as Adama is in.. and he is complety right.. he was elected by the people.. unlike Roslin .. also is curious how he behaves now.. he is clearly upset but dont opose the steping down the charge.. lets see what happens when Roslin gets back..if she does..

-Jokes about Lee as pressident.. now people is wondering if he is going to find the nearest Cylon target and order Colonial 1 or the fleet to ram it.. he was given command of the backbird ..a cool stealth fighter and he crashes it .. then he is given command of an awesome Battlestar ... and he crashes she.. now he is given command of .. all..

The way I rationalized the Caprica Six pregnancy is that because of Tigh seeing Six as his dead wife, it allows him to fall in love again, which was previously revealed as the reason why humanoid Cylons could not reproduce.

Jesus, I miss one lousy season of BSG and I'm totally lost with who is a Cylon, how many Vipers are left, the number of survivors that Rosilin keeps count of, etc.

(Grumbles about working night shift on weekends)

I guess I'll just buy last Season on DVD and try to keep up with who-is-what.  I'll set my DVR to catch this season's eps and try to get caught up with the here-and-now.

Note:  After reading Javier's recap and the child-bearing capabilities of the Cylons involving "love" and unpleasent, chalky candies:

For now, just best to assume everyone's a Cylon. Or read online plot recaps.

The episode was freaking undescribably awesome.  Intense drama mixed in with Baltars humorus attempts to enlighten a toaster.  I almost cried when Adama and Laura met at the end.  All the drama, love stories and exploits have been coming to a head, and this episode for the first time in a while ended with a sigh of relief.

This lasted all of a minute and a half.

OMFG!  PREVIEW!  Four Cylons revealed.  Explody things!  Now I have to wat another week!?!?!  ARRRG!

Amazing what a little space battle can do ...

This episode was better than last week's, but it simply reinforced how ridiculous the last episode was. They could have left the fleet in the same place, not tried to appoint another President, and ignored the whole Adama-Roslin melodrama and they would be in the exact same place in the story right now.

I liked Baltar's philosophical musings with the Centurion though...his character is really the only way they got away with the religious/philosophical stuff throughout this whole show.

As long as they don't give me any more filler episodes before they make it to earth, I'll be satisfied.
