So somebody explain to me why the midseason break is twice as long as the postseason break? That's the part that annoys me.

time for another gripe.
Ok, they're collecting Ba'als. They compare their genes and find two of them to be identical. They conclude either the clones are perfect, or these are both clones. If the clones are identical to eachother, wouldn't that mean the cloning process was perfect, i.e., produced no errors? Otherwise the clones, through some fluke, have exactly the same imperfections?
And second of all...
"We'll have to use the ventilation system to distribute the gas, and, you know, it's not really designed for that sort of thing."
...
Your ventilation system was designed for something besides distributing gasses evenly? If there were dead sectors not evenly circulated by the system, you'd think they'd already know about it, what with the need to bring your own oxygen to survive in them....

Also, I didn't see the episode, but I assume the deadly gas had a different density from normal atmosphere, and therefore might not spread evenly. Also, watch The Quest on TiVo. Good, but predictable. Then again, it's a Grail Quest. They're all pretty much the same. I even figured out that it would really be a dragon. I mean, they've really done Clarke's Third Law to death over the course of the series.

Anybody believe that Ba'al actually knows the name/password? I don't.

OK, here's the question of the day: Now that The Daedelus is no longer needed as a plot device what with the Transgalactic Gate Train in place, what's the over/under on episodes before it is destroyed?

What? Seems pretty self-explanitory to me.

He's been back. He was in an episode of SG-1 this season, as well as the mid-season finale of Atlantis.

Ugh. I had a bitter experience with time travel...
But anyway, is that to say he'll be in the DVD movies?

It's back on Australian TV too. And I get to see Mitch Pileggi (AKA Walter Skinner from The X Files) as commander of a starship. Wicked cool!

She reminded me too much of Kathy Griffith. Now Osiris, there was a goa'uld I'd tap like young Teal'c.
