The White Stripes' Fell in Love witrh a Girl video is better. But then Lego is awesome in any way.

Is there any reason why a computer animated video by an American band is set in England (Hit That). I just don't get it.

Yeah, that is a really awesome vid. Although I much preferred the vid to the song, the song's alright though

Isn't that the new Offspring song? I, not listening to the radio or watching MTV, wouldn't know. But, back to the topic, the reason the video is set in England is because the Offspring = teh suck.

On computer animated videos, the Red Hot Chili Peppers' clip for "Californication" is worth checking out.

Garbage - Push It is awesome, by the same director as Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun video but much better, very surreal, beautiful, funny and arty.

The Cure - Lovecats is another of my favourites. I love Robert Smith acting all catlike.

My favourite music videos came from INXS. They were noted for producing excellent music videos, and were awarded for it as well.
The best one that they ever released was 'The Gift' in 1992. It is quite an interesting and prophetic video which suits the feel of the song.

I always like the video for 'The One Thing' But I agree with you on your choice, that is a very good video.

Saw a video for To My Surprise's "In The Mood." The song is rather irritating and crappy, but the video is great. All animation-y and 3D-y. Plus there were plenty of people wearing bunny ears for some reason.  :D

Has anyone else seen the video for Scissor Sister's Comfortably Numb? It's so cool. It's got these people swimming under water and all the sea animals around them ... and at the end they form this pattern on the surface.

Oh yes, and I saw Britney Spears' video Toxic the other day ... oh dear God...

Shame about the song though, it makes baby jesus cry.

Speaking of which, the new Incubus video, "Megalomaniac" is pretty damn good.

I like this video called Stacy’s mom. I don’t know the name of the group but it has Rachel Hunter as a mom in which this young boy drools over his girlfriend’s mom.

Actually, it was directed fairly well, kinda a cute idea, though I can't say I didn't puke from the whole Rachel Hunter stripper thing. :/

Impy's guide to cheesy videos

#1: Total Eclipse Of The Heart - Bonnie Tyler - #1 March 1983

I saw this video yesterday, and it is truly one of the funniest videos in the cheese sense of all time. Look out for the dancing ninjas and the Village Of The Damned style kids with the creepy blue glowing eyes. I give this a cheese rating of "Stilton".

Saw the video for Sledgehammer again last night ... I absolutely love it

Oh god do I ever remember that one. The look of it, Tyler being the only woman there. The flying kid. The weird in room scenes as she ran through the mansion. How can that video be matched with the song?

It's creepy and it's bad. I find it hilarious when all these men come up the stairs, fists punching their other hands, and also the fact that all these doors are opening ... it's a damn good laugh  :laff:

Almost anything from the Director's Collection series, but most notably, the Spike Jonez DVD. Here's a list of some of those great videos.

Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice
Weezer - Buddy Holly
The Breeders - Cannonball
The Beastie Boys - Sabotage
Daft Punk - Da Funk
The Chemical Bros. - Electrobank
Wax - California
Bjork - It's Oh So Quiet.

It's kinda sad how bad videos have gotten.

I love the Weezer - Island In The Sun vid, but I've only seen it about three times, no thanks to "Music Television".

There's baby monkies and puppies and everything, its cute-cool.  :D

Really like Good Charlotte's "HOLD ON". What else,?!? Linkin Park's "NUMB" and "FAINT". those that I don't like would be nothing.... because it depends upon those who make it.. If it's good for them why would they care if some people wouldn't like it?

There tend to not be a lot of creative videos nowadays. Back in the mid 1990s, they'd allow anyone with a camera and a guitar to make a silly video. Now, almost every video looks/sounds like a GAP ad (I'm looking at you, Jet!).

Linkin Park - Numb
Incubis - Megalomaniac
The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
The White Stripes - The Hardest Button to Button
The White Stripes - Fell In Love With A Girl
Men Without Hats - The Safety Dance (That makes me laugh every time I see it!)

I seen Blink 182 – I miss you video. I like the song it is really good. The video is ok too but this is got me thinking. Do you think it’s ok to show a music video with a lesbian kiss scene at daytime? Is it because there nothing wrong with it and it’s ok to show it?

I said something like that before when the video of Tatu – All The Things She Said was shown during daytime.
