As for how I know this, I used to be a gamer (still am) and one of the 'zines I read happened to do something on 'banned Pokemon' episodes. Being bored, I decided to give it a shot (it was a short article, with lots of pretty pictures.) Well, they talked about the one that sent all those kids into seizures, someone where the main kid threatens a Pokemon with a pistol, and the aformentioned 'man with huge breasts' episode.

Oh I think I've got a similar article in one of my magazines but it was comparing Pokemon with the new Transformers series from Japan, allot more similarites than differences.

I just watched my first episode of Pokemon last night on Cartoon Network, and OH MY GOD!. It makes the animation from early DBZ look like the computer animated background of Futurama. Plus, I couldn't follow it without pauses, and this is from somebody who once explained the different forms of Majin Buu and each of their personal histories.

I hate how they put "To be continued..." at the end of every Pokemon epsiode! They all end that way! They're assuming that we aren't familiar that anime stories doesn't wrap up in 30 min like other cartoons do...that it's a continuous storyline.

Anyway I think Pokemon may have done far more harm than good for anime. When i say to people "Oh i like japanimantion" they usually have no clue whta I'm on about so I expalin then they say "Oh like Pokemon" arrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhh.
