I get that it's maybe trying to be stylized and postmodern and stuff, but good lord... what an incoherent mental pile of garbage...
Somewhere amid the shit being sucked out of people's arses with hoses, anal rape with a giant drill bit (as slapstick comedy), the woeful animation, and the derivitive 'plot' that was more hole than story, I completely lost what little faith in humanity I had left.

Things like this are what keep anime firmly stuck at the bottom of the barrel. Folk who produce shit like that should be shot to cleanse the creative world of their degrading influence.

Funny, I was about to post this movie again.   I picked up the DVD box in HMV just now to read the back, and it reminded me how bad it really was and what utter tosh the goths will eat up.  If any movie was made to a specific demographic, then this is it.

What do we have?  Well, we have the female lead, bedecked in PVC, leather and jet-black hair, and for good measure we'll give her a couple of guns.  We have liberal amounts of bloodletting and pointless nudity, goths have a thing for lesbians too, so let's make sure she gets down and dirty with a chick.  And yeah, the stupid ending, which almost made me want to kick the TV in.

Even thinking about it makes me want to fly into an apoplectic rage.

At least Buffy was well-written.

I think one of the reasons that this movie is so bad, is that it had so much potential to be great, and it failed so spectacularly.  So disappointing.

It might as well be a video by Fields Of The Nephilim.

Wow... the new Star Trek movie is going to suck ballz.  At least according to poster #235.  I'll try and avoid it. 

Also, I have a roommate that hates Lord of the Rings.  He also hates 300, and Nicholas Cage.  And he thinks Temple of Doom is the best Indiana Jones movie.

Another movie that has me steaming mad is Norbit. What's terrible about this movie is that it's the most unfunny piece of dogshit in the world and it's a comedy so you can't make fun of it!

Meh I hate prequels, I can't think of a single one that didn't felch in a big way, doesn't really bother me though as its not like I'm actually going to pay see it.
The only bright side for you trekies is that at least it promises to be shit which is better than promising to be good and turning out to be shit.

Have to agree about Wrath of Khan. Never seen Nemisis probably never will. TOS and the subsequent movies with the original cast all the way for me baby. I wont bother too see my parents are old Trek fans and as soon as they heard they went off the deep end so I'm not going to bother.

It's gonna be interesting to see what happens.  I remember when Star Trek: The Next Generation came out.  TOS fans were marching around with torches & pitchforks, screaming "Patrick Stewart?  He's no Kirk!  Burn him, he's a witch!"

One clear indicator that the new movie will suck is they brought on Winonna Ryder, who I can't stand.  I don't think she can act her way out of a paper bag (when she's not doing time for shoplifting, that is)...
