My friend got me hooked on Community back in October. I have since seen every episode at least 2 or 3 times. It is definitely one of my all-time favorite shows, ranking up there with The Simpsons (Seasons 2-12), Futurama, and Family Guy (Seasons 1-3). Futurama and Community have to be the two smartest comedies on TV.

And tomorrow, the mailman should finally deliver my Troy & Abed in the Mooooorning mug.

I want my Community back. :(

All i have is The Soup to perv on Joel McHale. It's just not enough! wahh. (of course, that's not the only reason i watch Community, it's freaking brilliant. Stupid Big Bang Theory. I don't get what's so great about THAT show. Stereotypical nerds? Do they even exist anymore?!... Cue Chris Hardwick..... )

Community hasn't been cancelled. NBC just hasn't announced when it's returning.

The bigger the fanbase gets, the more likely it is that it gets renewed...:D

Keep it up, everyone!

It doesn't need to be renewed. If you read the posts right above you, you'd see that it's only on hiatus and it's coming back in the spring.

I really despise you.

He means renewed for a fourth season after the hiatus is over. Shows that get put on hiatus for the sole purpose to make room for other shows rarely get renewed. I have no research to back this up, but it seems like such common sense.

I feel like NBC has always been one of those networks to really support its shows that gain a dedicated fanbase, and Community is certainly one of those. I think, or at least really hope, that they'll want to continue the series for a couple more seasons before putting it to bed. I've never really heard of NBC screwing over a show in its prime (although it may have happened at some point, I just can't think of any cases where that's true), certainly not to the extent of a network like Fox. So I'm optimistic.

I can finally remove that lump from my stomach! One of Tv's best comedies is returning to the almost perfect NBC Thursday Night Lineup! (Up All Night takes points away for being un-comical)

Bump!

New episode was pretty good. Troy and Abed trying not to be weird was excellent, as was Jeff and Brita's simultaneous drunk wedding freakout.

Can't wait to see more of the Dreamatorium. That thing has unlimited potential.

"Troy and Abed being normal" (Exchange Handshakes) :laff: That felt classic to me, god what a good episode. Britta's long line of Wives and Mothers was pretty great too! :D

Been catching up on this show, I think I've seen about half the episodes. Not gonna lie, the theme episodes that aren't really about the characters but about what they're doing are totally worth watching in my book. The episodes that are more 'normal' I guess don't really do it for me. They aren't outrageously funny but still watchable. Also I teeter back-and-forth on my love of Shirley. Sometimes that sweet voice of hers gets just a little annoying/condescending. I guess because I've seen her in other stuff where she is a mean character it throws me off. Still I'm enjoying this but about half of these episodes I can do without.

I think that's the point. It's supposed to sound annoying/condescending...it's one of her character flaws. One of the main aspects of the show is that all the characters have really shitty qualities, some shittier than others. Hey...just like real life!

Yeah that would be great if I cared about the characters at all. I honestly don't, unless they're being all dramatic about paintball or spoofing My Dinner with Andre, it just doesn't work for me.

Abed delivers a baby in the background of one of the episodes as well. (Abed has the best background adventures.)

And it may have been Britta who delivered Shirley's baby - I never watch the end to that episode because childbirth is, um, well, incredible gross and not something I enjoy watching. :puke: :puke: :puke:

I wonder if all of this anti-Britta sentiment will eventually make her snap...

Cool, Community was picked up for syndication by Comedy Central, link.
That gives an increased chance of another season, right?
