The phone in the TARDIS is the same one used at the Torchwood Institute in Army of Ghosts. Also, this series needs more pretty one Rory! Oh, Rory.TOTP What? There's nothing here.

Hm, that ep was very strange indeed, a Castle in the middle of the Ocean that recieves Solar Storms and works with clones and acid? Sweet. Was a good ep, looking forward to next weeks. =P

Um, didn't you watch the Next Time preview? Didn't you know it was confirmed to be a 2 parter months ago? Didn't you know that they aren't retarded enough to just end a 1 parted episode like that? Also, 23 teasers for 'The Almost People'! And these are spoiler free, but as I said, some of you can't tell the difference between a spoiler and a teaser, so spoiler tags it is! ¬_¬ 1. It’s a compelling, solid action/adventure episode, with a few irritating moments that don’t quite gel and some lapses in logic. If anything, it feels a little small scale and never really steps up a gear to a level you’d expect from a two-parter, but at least that means it can deal with its themes a little more thoroughly and concentrate on the characters.
2. The denoument is character based rather than technobabble based
3. The last couple of minutes are riveting.
4. The Doctor has a great John Culshaw moment
5. There’s some new footage – not just “story so far” clips – before the opening credits
6. Random words from the script: “Breathe” “Yowzer” “Mirage” “Bad boy” “Bisucuits” “Burnt onions” “Pop”
7. There’s a very Dali moment
8. The Doctor appeals to someone’s better nature
9. Rory makes a mistake
10. There’s a lovely reference back to “The Doctor’s Wife”
11. The Doctor is very scary at a couple of points
12. Amy voices something that may have been on the veiwers’ minds if they’ve been following the series
13. The theme of prejudice and the nature of the gangers are explored in a number of effective dialogue exchanges
14. The Doctor once won a bet in a very unusual fashion
15. The Doctor asks Amy to do something he also asked her to do in the last series
16. Some waste product has a profound affect on Rory
17. There are some very icky FX
18. Somebody has a big mouth
19. The music at one point is very Blade Runner
20. The TARDIS makes a very unusual landing
21. By the end of the episode you be left trying to work out when something that clearly happened actually happened
22. There’s a very random balloon
23. The TARDIS is better medically equipped than in “Curse Of The Black Spot”. Like does a Teaser Trailer for a movie spoil the plot of the film for you? No. So teasers aren't spoilers.

Well, yes: Teaser Trailers for movies do spoil them for me to some degree.

You're revealing details that wouldn't have been known otherwise until we'd watched the episode. Therefore they are spoilers.Big, fat spoilers. Teaser = spoiler. Spoilers are information about the future. Well Teasers aren't Spoilers, but some of you can't tell the difference...
Anything that gives away information relating to the plot is a spoiler. Anything that gives away information about the arc or leads the audience to a certain expectation is a spoiler.
Teasers are spoilers - albeit fragmentary ones. Get off your high horse, and go register at Outpost Gallifrey, if it's still going.
If you want to discuss episodes in advance of their airdate, I sugges you do so at a Doctor Who forum where this sort of thing has its own sub-board.

Not really
No, really. Please stop being a humongous tool. Please. It's not helping anybody, and it may actually be hurting people. A spoiler is a spoiler is a spoiler. For fuck's sake, take the goddamn hint and stop posting them. I really, really, really want to punch you in the face right now. Hard.

I understand that some people enjoy the teasers as it helps whet their appetite for the eps and that's great. As long as they're hidden in spoiler tags it's no skin off my back.

The issue wasn't you posting them in tags or not. The issue was you were saying they were "teasers" and thus didn't need tagging.
You have promise as a poster, but your youth is showing. Please think before you post.

Is speculation permitted? 'Cause this latest episode is chock full of indications that the Doctor knows exactly what he's doing here. Even down to wanting to drop off Amy and Rory before going ahead with it.

I wouldn't risk it Xanfor, even if you mention the word 'Spoiler' you'll get told off... ¬_¬

Speculating and "teasing" are two separate things entirely. One means you don't know anything, the other means you know something.
There was something funny about the Doctor's reaction to the technology. Are they something we've already seen?

No, the Flesh is an entirely new concept. But, the Doctor does know about it, and arrived intentionally in order to do something. (Possibly to create his own ganger?) Watch him closely and listen to what he says. He went to that island on purpose, and doesn't want his companions to know this.

That is a possibility, although the Doctor wouldn't have created the ganger to simply take his place like that, not with the respect he has for life. It could be that the ganger ends up dying by accident, whether killed by the astronaut or not, or... The original Doctor does die, and the ganger, identical in every respect once stabilized, takes over the show.
Or maybe one of them dies, but we never actually find out which was the duplicate.

This season has been a lot of fun so far. Just had a thought about the little girl fromt the first two episodes, which I am sure has already been shot down as an idea. but did we ever find out what happend to the Doctor's daughter from season 4, I know when she died and came back she did not really regenerate but it could be her. Granted I am not sure why she would regenerate to a child but it is just a thought.

Well, there is a girl in Episode 7 called Jenny, but it could be the one from Rebel Flesh and Almost People... Also, they've just released 10 more teasers/spoilers for tonight's ep, but I'm not even going to bother mentioning them. Ignore this.

It's technically a 3 parter, but the storyline and setting for the 3rd part is different. Anyway, loved last night's, not gonna enjoy the long wait for Episode 8 through Summer after next Sat...
