Well of course you shouldn't change it all and make it a whole different contest. But tweeking the rules, leaving out one here and adding one there is normal.

Just look how the PEELies evolved, from a council deciding all to a council giving people a chance to nominate and vote, first only by mail now publicly.


Some changes are for the better, some for the worse. You just need to know how to adjust them.

Is there any chance of posting the final poll numbers for all polls in their appropriate threads at some point?  It's completely understandable if the council had to make an executive decision here and there; it just would be cool to see the voting stats.

He used 8 different custom avatars and 2 custom holiday avatars in 2011, it's more than fitting to give him the award.
