A professor battles a doctor in the Farnsworth finale! The region's namesake, Hubert J. Farnsworth, battles his recent longtime friend, Zoidberg, possibly in a sorta fight to the potential death! Discuss now and the poll opens at noon Sunday.

Could be a rough one, but I'm going with Farnsworth. I think he's a more fascinating character and he's capable of driving his own plots. Zoidberg has had some great one-liners, but Farnsworth has had good one-liners and some good other things too.

I am going with Zoidberg; as great as Farnsworth is, he just doesn't reach a whole new level of interest to me.  Farnsworth fits a few too many tropes to my liking, not that should be my ultimate judgement of characters.

But if I profess that Zoidberg and Zapp Brannigan are my two favourite characters; what sort of believer would I be in that if I were to vote against a favourite character?

Very tough choice here, both are great characters, not sure yet who I will voze for.

Farnsworth, quite easily. Zoidberg annoys me just as often as he amuses me, but Farnsworth never disappoints.

I think I will be going with Zoidberg. But not totally sure yes. May need to watch an episode focusing around both of the before I decide.

I'm with Zoidberg as he's my favourite character, but I expect this round to go to the Professy.

Difficult...but I will go with Farnsworth.
Both are capable of delivering great on-liner jokes (where I see Zoidberg in the lead), but Farnsworth also has protagonist potential.  Also, the thought of doomsday machines in the hand of a senile old man has a certain appeal...so Farnsworth will get my vote :)

Wow, this one IS tough. I'll be voting for Farnsworth, since I want him to take this whole thing. However, it hurts to vote against Zoidberg. He did make it quite far, though.

I really don't know who's going to win this one. I'll bet Hubie, but I'm sure that this will be a close one.

We're getting down to the point where I have an investment in all of the remaining characters.  My vote choice in any particular poll now might simply come down to the instantaneous vector of the quantum and chaotic mental foam bubbling at the boundary layer of my consciousness.

This is easily the most interesting matchup of this round.  Good thing I have time to think about whom I am going to vote for...because right now, I have no idea.

Both great, but the Professor slightly edges it, his voice is just the cloolest...

Went with Farnsworth.
- Both characters do deliver great one liners (or short appearances), with Zoidberg clearly in the lead.
- When it comes to carry longer plots, I see much more potential on Farnsworth side.
Or, to put it otherwise: Farnsworth is better in doing Zoidberg's comedy job, than vice versa...

So hard to choose! In the end I had to vote with enjoying being old cause no one asks you to help move their stuff.

The Professor makes me laugh WAY more than Zoidberg...

That's funny: I'm a bit surprised, but not appalled, by the result. I thought there were more diehard Zoidy fans out there.

I'm surprised, PEEL seemed to be filled with Zoidberg fans... (I voted for the Professy, obviously...)
